Its normal, dogs have a natural sense of what is good for them and they instinctively know that grass will soothe their troubled stomachs. So dont worry about it.

Normally animals both in the wild and in captivity will eat plants and grasses because it helps their digestive system. Also, they could be having stomach problems and they throw up the grasses along with whatever was giving them the problem. Most dogs who eat grasses eat it a little, just to resolve their problems.

Most veterinarians would say that grass eating by dogs and cats is normal. Dogs in the wild do the same thing to supplement their diet with vegetation. Just make sure that your lawn is treated with herbicides, insecticides, or fertilizers that might cause illness.

Your dog eats grass because it may have a stomach ache or something. My dog does it sometimes but not always, and yes he throws up a while after he eats it.

Eating grass is usually a sign that they aren't feeling well. If they seem a little off for an extended time while still eating grass, you may need to get them checked

It is just natural for some dogs. While others will only do it from time to time to induce vomiting. My dog grazes and has since he was a pup. Be sure not to let them eat it at least 4 days after spraying for bugs or fertelizing.

The vet told me my dog craves veggies, and was supplementing her diet with grass. No harm in it really, but she told me I could mix in a few green beans mashed up with her dog food if it bothered me. Seems to curb her appetite for grass quite a bit.
Good luck

My dogs eat grass because they'll pretty much eat anything. Once they grew out of the poop eating stage, I suppose they thought, "since she's not feeding me snacks and scraps, I'll get my snacks out where nature grows them." Try giving the dogs long lasting treats, like chewy bones, and pig ears!

Don't make them stop! Dogs are really smart. If they feel sick, they begin eating grass which makes them throw up what's bothering them. Don't worry about it, but you might want to begin feeding them a different food brand.
