An old lady in the park hit my pit bull Buddyboo -- who was just trying for a friendly sniff - with her cane. Buddyboo over-reacted a little and bit the attacker in the face. Now the police want to have Buddyboo put to death. Animal lovers: what recourse do I have to save my little Buddyboo? This is in The Hamptons.

I have large german shepherd pit lab mix, and she is afraid of the world. she cowers and barks at any unfamiliar noise or voice. this can be a pro, but everytime she barks it terrifies my eleven month old son. does anyone have any good ideas on how to teach this old dog a new trick: to quit barking?
please, if your going to say something nasty, like hitting her or something, go on to the next question. this is a waste of your time and I will report you for cruelty to others. oh yes, I can do that.
please, fellow dag moms, help!

My dog was mistaken for a taliban unit by an american bomber that was flying overhead, and I'm sure they put a laser target on him. Should I stay several meters away from him in case they comeback to bomb him?

10 month old chihuahua is well behaved most of the time, but i cant get her to stop being scared of walks. She is mostly an indoor dog, and it's my fault. When people approach her she starts to bark and growl. It's really fustrating most of the time... I need some guidance. I get really nervous and scared when big dogs approach us.. she's tiny and i'm afraid her bark will get her hurt. But of course her bark is much more scarier than her bite..

will these dog fighting owners go for next? Could it be the same breed as my dog and then they ban him? This concerns me because I do not want these people taking a loving dog like the lab or some other breed and make their name go bad. Why dont they just make harsher punishment for the owners that breed dogs like this? They should take full responsibility for what they do instead of banning a breed.

I have always given our dogs a mix of very high quality dry and now I am incorporating partial raw, but I was wondering about rice. When ever the dogs have gotton into something they shouldn't the vet says plain rice and boiled chicken, and all the top dog food companies use a lamb and rice formula. So why when I am doing reseach online does it say NOT to give dogs any rice? Very curious, any help is appreciated.

and btw the dogs LOVE the rice......hmmmmmm

I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriver, and have been giving him raw turkey and raw eggs occasionally, and he likes them alot. I've heard that raw eggs can help make their coat nice. But will it make him sick? I don't want him to get sal manilla(sp?) or any terrible disease. He will be turning 1 next month. Thanks for your time!

I assume I will need proof of rabies shots to get over the border, is that it?
