Today my cat ran away. She wont come back. I have found her, but she doesn't want to come home with me. She seems to be spooked by neighbour dogs. She even looks agresive. She is about 5 weeks old,so she isn't really big,but is not a citten. I have tried to approach slowly with food, but id doesn't work. She runs away, and meows at me with a terrified look. Please help me get her home, this kitty is very dear to me.

am very curious if poor pregnant Taryn who escaped from the vet's office in Balmain has been found yet/// I really feel for this cat and for her human mom who must be devastated. Any news?

My one year old had five beautiful kittens who are now five and a half weeks old. They are using the litter tray, eating dry and wet food but still suckling mummas milk. I now only let her in with the kittens at night. What should i do now? I have found good homes for four of the babies. I would like to put as little stress on them all as possible.

I had a cat called Bonnie and she lived to be nearly 20, I know this is pretty old, but I often wonder how many other cats have reached this age.

Before anyone says it she did not have any major health problems that meant that she should have been put to sleep. Apart from having dodgy eyesite and being a bit senile, but she was happy until the day she died, always purring.

Genuine answers only please.

Dear Yahoo
RSPCA NSW (animal welfare society in Sydney Australia) seeks permission to reproduce a yahoo.com page showing 'Mickey' our fat cat beating Pamela Anderson as 'most emailed' pic for four days. Pic appeared on yahoo.com around May 25-30, 2005. It is wonderful! If possible, please let us know as soon as possible if it is ok to re-print this front page in RSPCA NSW Annual Report, which is not sold, but sent to our members and supporters. They are aware of Mickey's struggle with his weight and will enjoy seeing the page!

kind regards

He is about 2 months old I think. I don't know for sure because he was a stray and I adopted him. Right when I got him I tried to feed him cat food but he wouldn't eat it. So then I tried some chicken and beef and he gobbled it right up. I know it's good to give cats meat, but maybe only on occasion. I'd rather him eat his cat food primarily. What do I do? I have been told to just wait it out -- that he'll eat the cat food when he's hungry enough. But it's been a day and he hasn't eaten it! How long do I wait?

I've had a continuing story on here about my cat BUDDY. Took her in Labor day 2005. My landlord THOUGHT that she had been around for many years (diff cat) so I thought she was old. I tried to comfort myself recently by thinking that hopefully she went away to pass on. I know that can't be true now. She had her sight, her hearing, and boy what an appetite!! She only slowed down a little bit in the last couple of months because of a minor hip injury. She did once go after a raccoon to play with it for Pete's sake! I thought she learned her lesson when that raccoon took a chunk out of her tail. I nursed her back. I am not saying it is my cat's fault. I believe it is MY fault. I heard her cry one early morning. I DIDN'T get up to open the door cause I was sick (again MY own fault!). I figured she'd be fine another hour or 2. I basically killed my beloved cat even tho I gave her the world and a very happy last year of her life but I will never ever forgive myself. FIRE AWAY PLEEEASE!!!!!!

There is a kind of cats called Japanese bob tail, and they are born with short and curled tails. Does anyone know why? I'll let you know just in case you are wondering...No, no one cuts the tails. They are born with shor tails. I used have a cat like that. He was a street cat. We adapted him. But we never understood why his tail was shor and curled.

I want to start doing TNR, but I don't want to let stray, tame cats back into the wild if they can be helped. But the problem is, most cats act like feral cats when they are trapped. How can you tell!?

I thought it was a weird name and my cousin said the name was one of his high school teachers. What do you think about a cat with a name like Yager? Any answers on this would be most appreciated. Thanks! ^-^
