i have a lovely cat who loves a little bit of cheddar, i normally just give her a tiny piece if i'm eating a cheese sandwich for example. there's no harm in giving a small piece as a treat, just don't give it regularly, no more than once a week say (to mine it's more like only twice a month).
The thing to remember is that cats suffer from Lactose intolerance, the natural sugar found in dairy products, and dairy stuff can give them the runs (if u get my meaning) if fed too regularly or in quantities too large.

We have a 16 year old cat and she will get milk or tiny amounts of cheese from time to time. But I'm told it's not good to feed them dairy products. You can find special milk for cats at any good pet supply store.

Cats can become constipated from cheese. Milk gives them diarrhea. Dairy products can also cause kidney stones in cats.

Yep - my old cat LOVED cheese, especially kraft cheese slices. And she lived to the ripe old age of 17 so they never did her a bit of harm! Everything in moderation though. Just a little bit as a treat every now & then.

Yes it is okay to give your cat cheese in small amounts.
Use it as a treat and not as a main course for the little one.
I wish you and your little one the best.

Our cats never liked cheese. I guess they're weird because I see a lot of people's cats liked cheese.

Cow's milk is a poor source of taurine and adult cats are generally lactose intolerant. Lactose-free milk is perfectly safe, but still not a substitute for meat.
For those who don't get it, this includes cheese and other dairy products.

No. Dairy products are a laxative to cats and the enzymes cause urinary problems. Try the cheese flavored cat treats instead.

i give my cats dairy products every once in a while. They love yogurt... just a dab. I dont think this will hurt the cat if you give only a small amount and not every day. ask your vet for sure.

only give your feline Friend what is designed for his/her diet.
no supper scraps, no treats that are not designed for the cat,
if this is a indoor kitty, you will love this advice, the next time you have to scoop the litter box. as tempting as it may be (just this once) you as a reasonable person should stand your ground.
