Yes. We raise Ragdolls and one of the funniest things we saw was this sealpoint male that Looked like we did the same thing. My vet asked me about it that first time. I had no clue, but later it was the "topic of discussion" at one of the shows.
In short - the whiskers WILL grow back. They may look hysterically funny in the meantime, but they'll grow back just fine.
That little sealpoint, with the dark face and incredibily funny looking short whiskers, grew the most beautiful whiskers you can imagine (once the momma quit biting them off! LOL!

Yes, they'll grow back. The cat will be at a disadvantage until they do, because they use whiskers to judge spaces they can safely crawl into. Make sure the cat doesn't get stuck in any tight spots while they're growing back.
There's nothing the vet can do to help this. Just keep an eye on the cat for the next few weeks.

Yes they will eventually grow back no there is nothing a vet can do. All you can do is teach your little sister about animals and how to treat them. A child is never too young to learn. Keep an eye on your cat so it doesn't get itself stuck anywhere (now that she can't measure width) And until your sister learns keep her away from the cat

They will grow back! My grandson cut my cat's whiskers off and they grew back pretty quickly! He wonders why the cat doesn't like him now when he did it 2 yrs ago!? Tell your sister that cats do NOT need haircuts! They need those whiskers to help "see" and gauge spaces in the dark. Have a great day!

Oh dear... well, YES, cat's whiskers do grow back and NO, you don't needto take the cat to the vet. But it would be a good idea if you kept the cat indoors most of the time and supervise his outdoor outings becuase cats need their whiskers to measure distances and widths.

The whiskers will grow back but in time. You must becareful with the animal now because the sense of fitting through things will be off judgement. make sure to keep checking on it. The whiskers are their antennas like a radar they wont fit.

Just for the record.....when a kitties whiskers are cut off like that it does hurt them. They have nerve endings where they grow out of so nobody should touch the kitties whiskers at all.
And someone should make sure your home is childproof.

They'll grow back...my daughter did the same to ours many years ago...they use the whiskers as a guage to fit into tight places. No vet needed.

They'll grow back. No medical care needed. Someone needs to tell your sister that she must never do that again. Then keep shears out of her reach.
