Already 2 years they are living together but they still fight and don't like each other, I start to think that that is impossible to make them be friends...

My cat used to get milk from me after I had some cereal, but now that I'm drinking Soy milk more often, it seems he wants it more. It breaks my heart to not give him the milk... But I just don't know if it's safe for him or not. Please help!

He has been dropping them pretty fast, I know we have have found three of them. When he eats, its sounds like it hurts, and most often then not, after he is done, he has tears come out, you know the type...kinda like you just bit your cheek...Ive softened his food with warm water just trying to help him through this troubled time. Should I contact a vet? Or just see how things go for the next couple days?

i got him last week, he is neutered, vaccinated, chipped everything and so affectionnate its great! also he's really playful. the stuff that bothers me is that he miows all the time when not playing/cuddling/eating/sleeping. he was rescued from a house with loads of cats and i wonder if he is calling for his buddies? also he's itching to go out but need to keep him in 3 weeks. he's really loving and attention doesn't stop him miowing as he gets loads but when he wants to miow that all he does. and as for being playful, perhaps a little too playful sometimes, he tears around the house knocking things over and is so hyper, especially on a morning! will he calm down? I've had cats before but was only young when they were young so don't remember them being this wild playing and this noisy!

I live in Greece, and I picked up the cat/kitten on Sunday near a taverna on the beach. How do I tell how old she is? And I would really appreciate any help.
Thank you!

My boyfriend and I brought home a 3 legged 6 month old from the local aspca. Her back left leg is amputated. She gets along pretty well, but has trouble jumping up on the bed and uses her claws. Is it possible for her claws to get ripped out? I read on here that it was a good idea to make some sort of stepping stone, which I am going to think about.
Down to the question. The vet told us that she needed to maintain and never gain any weight. She was very little when we got her, so she has grown a bit. Maybe 3-4 pounds. She seems hungry alot, but we decided that an open dish policy wouldn't work. What do you suggest on a feeding regime? Or maybe a brand that will keep her weight down as she gets older. Thanks!

I will feed my cat before I go to bed but without fail every morning he will come into the bedroom, come right up to my head whilst i'm asleep and start purring as loud as possible until I wake up.

Just joined this because it looked interesting. From my ID, you can tell I love cats but I didn't expect to be asking a "cat" question. Anyone know if a wild animal would scare a cat away from its own home. She was mainly an outdoor cat but never ever went far. She's tagged and all but she dissappeared during the day no less. I know at night, there's a hefty raccoon around here. I ask "wild animal" or "wildlife" because all of the dogs in the neighborhood are fenced in. I know I know, I shouldn't have turned my attention away from her for even a second but broad daylight? Called animal control and they haven't picked up a dead cat. Searched within almost a 3 mile radius of the neighborhood. Hasn't been long but I'm definitely worried. If she got scared, how long will she stay away? (If that is what happened.) She wasn't pregnant. Had her spayed a year ago. Thanks.

its a boy, he is 9 weeks old. is beige with brown legs and ears, but his paws are white. he has a splash of white going down his nose like someone has spilt paint on him. i have thought of 'solomon' so far.....but dont know whether to go for a more oriental name. i prefer proper names, not stuff like 'fluffy' or 'squigglewiggles' lol. thanks in advance !

I see around 1 flea here and there when I use the brush. I vaccum every second day. Is this regimen enough? (my cat is an indoor cat but there are some fleas in this apartment due to te past tenants). I also gave my cat some flea shampoos but they don't seem to work so well.

Have you ever used lint tape on your cat? It seems to work well for mine.. but I'm wondering if it's safe and if the glue from the tape is dangerous?

Thanks!

for the majority of the time I want to feed my cat the best food ever. I heard raw meat is the best. my cat is around 6 months old, male orange domestic short hair tabby.I want my cat to live to be the oldest cat ever so nutrition is the best thing I can do for him. I heard the longest was 36 years old. I wonder if I can beat the record, jus because I'd die to ever see my baby go:-(

I'm having my kitten spayed next month, can anyone who has been through this tell me what to expect. She's only been to the vet once since I've gotten her so I haven't had a chance to ask him. Will she have to stay overnight?? Will I need to take a day off to stay with her (not an issue if I have to)? How will she act when she gets home?
