Not at the age of 4 months as he's not gotten into puberty yet and not sure of his sensual ways yet. He's going to be curious when his mother is having the (oh i'm so pretty attitude) thing going on, but physically, not until he's 5 to 6 months old. I used to raise kittens myself, i would watch for that 'spraying' time in puberty to know when they were old enough for mating. also as you will note, female cats once they are in season, they never end the season, they can get pregnant at anytime, even though the higher levels of in season is more noticable, its often hidden in other times.
(as bob barker always says ' watch the pet population and have your cat spayed or neutered) LOL

Yes it can. When a female cat comes into heat, and male, it doesn't matter if it's her own offspring or not, can get her pregnant...When this happens that's where the inbreeding deformaties can occur...Sometimes you luck out and the inbred kittens come out normal, but in the cases that aren't so lucky you get birth defects...And that goes for any incest litter for any kind of animal. My suggestion to you is, get the male fixed, or better yet, get them all fixed

Yes he would be able to get her pregnant in 2-4 months from now. Please spay/neuter your kittens because there are just too many animals dying each day because there are not enough homes for them all.

Sure can! It's a bad joke that nature plays on felines. The females no sooner have a litter then they're back in heat again. You better get them fixed or you're in for a real bad inbred mess

I don't think so at this point, but I wouldn't take any chances. I know for certain that in a few months, he'll be able to get her pregnant, though. Keep them separated till you know for sure.

yes it can... I'd stop it by getting one of the cats neutered or spayed you could end up with some deformed kittens

Its not likely, because of its age, but its also not impossible. Why in the world have you not had your cats spayed and neutered yet?

When he reaches puberty, YES. If you are going to keep them both, you MUST spay and neuter. If not, they could produce inbred kittens with health problems. PLEASE have them fixed!

Please - get your cat spayed!!! I hope you are going to keep her kitten now that she has had one. You need to have him altered also because at some point he will be able to mate with her.

Only if he's old enough. Be careful though because if he is in fact old enough to get her pregnant, it may cause birth defects as will any inbreeding.
