I am devastated. My mum's cat got run over and killed by a car this morning while my mum was in hospital having minor surgery. She came back to find her cat lying dead in her parking space and a mark in the road where he had crawled to wait for her. He was officially my cat to start with until I moved away, so he's close to my heart and he was 12 years old so he's been part of the family for a long time. How do I move on from this? I cant stop crying thinking of him being knocked down, and the fact the person who killed him didn't even care enough to bother with him. My mum said he was fine when she left for the hospital this morning. It's happened so quick, and I feel heartbroken.

Okay, so this little kitten has been wandering around my house for the past 4 or 5 days and she is really sweet. I am a big animal lover, so any sight of one and I automatically fall in love with them. I already have a male cat and they seem to do okay around eachother from what I can see. The only thing is she is not declawed and I worry about her scratching the furniture and I dont know if she is litter box trained either. I just dont know if it is worth all of the hassle to train her or not. What do you think? Also, my other cat was a stray too, I just dont want to become one of these people that take in all the stray cats!

I found a black kitten a few weeks ago. He matches the description of a Bombay (in features and personality). But it seems weird that someone would abandon such an expensive cat...

Recently lost one of my siamese,he was the male. My other two female siamese keep looking for him. they were all of the same litter and approx 4 yrs old. Was wondering if it would help to get another siamese male kitty to keep them company.

I used to play with my cat all the time but then i had my baby and now she will take socks, shirts, and my sons stuffed toys and put them in her water bowel. Not to mention she chews holes into the socks and clothes too. Why is she acting like this...is it because she dont get enough attention anymore?

will not cuddle up and let you pat her. Any ideas for how to calm down a nervous cat?

Because of the cat peeing in our hear vent, everytime we turn on the heat, we get the smell of cat piss. We need a way to get the smell out.

We have a 1 yr. old neutered cat (indoor) and are thinking about adding a new 12 week old male kitten (indoor) to our family. Our 1 yr. old cat has never sprayed but we are worried about the chance of either cat spraying. Can someone shed some light on this situation??

This truck will be towed away very soon. I brought her a small dog house, placed straw on the floor and placed it near the truck. She will not use it... I started putting her food dish it in and at least she now goes in it. I cannot bring her into my home although I would like to, She was injured several months ago (part of tail cut-off) and if I bring her to a shelter.. instant death. I do not want her to freeze how can I persude her to use the dog house... perhaps make it a little safer??? Thanks

he seems to cough and slutter and when he breathes out his chest spasms. My vet said it was an allergic reaction but I don't believe him. This has been going on since Sunday morning and I'm really worried and can't go to work thinking he might die at any moment. What could it be and what should I do?

My cat knows how to push down the knobs on our water cooler. He keeps on doing it till the truft is overflowing. I tried to stop him with a spray bottle, ground hot pepper on double sticky tape. Taped on the knobs. I even tried hanging tin foil over the area where the knobs are. Nothing works he is still going after them. Does anybody have any suggestions other then what I tried?
