I had a Siamese that always dropped things in my work boot. I think she was trying to hide them in lieu of burying them.

Because she has learned that her food dish is her personal domain. Buy her another dish, swirl some food around in it to get the scent, put the food in her real food bowl, leave the new bowl NEXT TO the food dish, and maybe she will start to use the new bowl as a toy box. If not, maybe she starts to play, gets hungry, and then when she has food in her tummy, doesn't feel like playing anymore so she leaves the toy there.

My siamese truly enjoys my chihuahua. They play with one yet another for hours. Lol. yet in case you do not opt to purchase a chihuahua which I doubt you do, my siamese likes to play with my hair ties. She steals all of them the time. She truly beloved the cat toy that has a ball in a doughnut searching element. She might want to paw on the ball. That replaced into an outstanding one. i detect that my siamese doesn't like cat toys yet prefers issues around the residing house a lot extra. one in each and every of her well-known issues is tormenting my different pets alongside with my rat and my sugar gliders. solid success searching a toy she will be ready to somewhat play with. you would possibly want to easily ought to stay consisting of her twiddling with cabinets.

My theory is that she thinks they are her babies. I've watched my tortie (who was a mama) carry around toys in her mouth just like she did with her babies and put them in the cat bed, near the cat food dishes, or wherever she is when she sleeps. I think her toys are her babies. It's actually pretty sweet when you think of it that way (even if it is annoying that you have to take them out ALL the time!).

My calico cat does the same thing. When she's playing with her toy mice she'll take them to the water dish and drown them. It's cute, but I have two cats so I'm constantly picking drowned mice out of the water dish and refilling it.

My little boy cat does this all the time. His favorite toys are glitter/pom balls and pipe cleaners which we form into a circle. We play fetch with him. Everytime we play catch, whichever toy we are using ends up in the water bowl. He then fishes it out and brings it to us to throw again. I thinks it's quirky and cute. Enjoy!!!! PS - Siamese are great cats!!!!

does your cat chew this toy during, after its meal? it could be cleaning its teeth.
Siamese cats that I have had the pleasure of knowing like to chew things. Wool, toweling hairbands, shoelaces, cuddly toys fleece coats the list goes on.
These items were taken by the cat to its dish.

umm...my cat doesnt do this errr...but my dog does....shes strange like that lol! I think it may have something to do with a phantom pregnancy. My Dog sometimes goes off her food for a while and looks after her toys like they are her own pups. She feeds them and caries them gently and stuff. After about a week she goes back to her old self and im sure your cat will do the same! :)

I don't know, my siamese always takes hers and puts them up in the kitchen sink, lol. Maybe she does it to keep it away from our other cat that can't jump on the counters (hes handicapped).
Or maybe they are just playing and get hungry or thirsty and just leave it there, lol!
