One night of sneezing should not be of much concern, as long as the only symptom is sneezing. Alarming symptoms your pet should see a vet are a discharge from eyes or nose (or anywhere else for that matter), lethargy, decrease in appetite, urinating/defecating in abnormal places, vomiting, diarreha... if any of these symptoms occur or your pet sontinues to sneeze after 3 days without improvement, he should be seen by a veterinarian. If caught early, upper respiratory infections can be avoided and be treated by common antibiotics and very rarely a hospital stay.

Usually when a cat sneezes alot it can mean a couple of things. 1. The cat has allergies or 2. there is alot of pollen in the air and cats are really sensitive to enviromental pollutants

My little Gracie was sneezing and I took her to the vet, they said it could be a little upper respiratory cold and may come and go through out her life. Normal with lots of kittens, however if she begins to have a runny discharge from her nose she will need to co in for medication, cause once their little noses start running, their sense of smell is off and they wont eat anything they can't smell. So I wouldn't worry unless she starts getting a runny nose. Good luck.

Cats can have allergies as well as people.
They can get asmtha too.

It could also mean he is getting a cold or virus.
If it is just a clear discharge probably allergies.
If it starts to turn get him to the vet fast.
If it persists the vet can help.

Good luck.
I have a cat that starts to sneeze as soon as I start with allergies and stops about the time I stop. Vet said allergies.

Have you changed perfumes or Cologne lately that could be the problem. I changed aftershaves and my cat did the same thing.
