About three years ago, I was paging through one of those cat magazines and read an article about a species of domesticated cat that was very revered in it’s native homeland: Indonesia, or somewhere there abouts, I can’t really remember.

It was described as having: short, white fur, with “diamond bright eyes.” Here’s the unusual thing: this particular species has two different colored eyes. One eye was the color of golden topaz, the other the color of blue topaz. This is not an odd quirk that pops up every now and then, this dual-eyes color is as natural to them as having short, white fur.

Does anyone have any idea what the name of this variety of cat may be?

He was hanging by all four feet on the screen door and swinging his body from side to side. I chased him off and he jumped on the banister. This banister is really skinny, and he jumped up in the air and landed facing in the opposite direction on all four feet. Then he attacked a post and began biting it. He's been really irritable lately. What's wrong with him?

my kitten is having a hard time pooping...it just started yesterday so i called the vet and they told me to get some hairball medicine and give it to him 3 times a day until he's better...what kind has the most amount of "laxitive" in it to help him better? also what kind has a better taste so my kitten will eat it willingly instead of me having to force him

when I adopted my 6 month old male neutered kitten back in July I gave him a bath right when I brought him home just to get all the fleas off. he had about 20-23 fleas then. well, Labor Day, I gave him a bath again because I saw what looked like a flea on his belly. after I gave him a bath I counted those fleas and all in all I found about 10-12 on him. but for the past week I've been noticing that he'd been scratching more than usual so yesterday I gave him another bath and this time he had a total of 26 fleas on him!! why is it not getting rid of the fleas? I don't think that the flea shampoo that I use is killing any of the eggs in his fur and a couple of weeks later they're all hatching in him. in 2 weeks I'm going to give him another bath to try to kill all the eggs that hatch and try to prevent them from laying eggs in him. I just don't understand why it's soooo hard for him to get rid of the fleas. why is it taking so long to get rid of them on him? Thanks!

My boyfriend found a stray kitten on Labor Day and the vet said at that time he was barely 2 weeks old, if that. I have been bottle feeding him and he now is getting teeth. I can't seem eto get him to "lap" up any milk from a lid. Any ideas an how to get him off the bottle?

I have a cat that is having litterbox issues and has been using my family room as a litterbox. It's been going on for a while now, and I've realized she's going to continue to do it until the smell is completely eliminated, which is hard since the room is completely carpeted and there is no way to keep her out of there. She used to be my mom's cat, and my mom lives in New York. My mom agreed to take her back until we move there next spring (that's another thing too- we are going to be trying to sell our house so I don't need her there continually stinking it up). We live in St. Louis. What is the best way to get the cat to her (I really can't afford to hop on an airplane just to take the cat there). Can you ship a cat? How much does it cost? Thanks!

He begged for it while I was eating it but I figured he wouldn't actually eat it when he found out it was that hot...it's Bumble Bee brand Spicy Thai Chili Tuna salad with crackers. He ate about a tablespoon full and didn't seem to want water after or anything.

Every morning I wake up to a cat poo on my kitchen rug. Every day in the same place without fail. At first it seemed to happen when his litter box needed changing but now its all the time, even when its been changed a matter of hours before. I've washed the rug many, many times and I've cleaned it with special per disinfectant which is supposed to get rid of the odours he can smell! Still no luck though and I've ran out of ideas.

I've had my cat for two years and three weeks ago she ran away. By chance I found out that somebody had found her and had taken her in. She was home for three days and has gone again. I don't understand because nothing has changed at home. We love our cats, feed them three times a day and treat them all the same. What is Fifi's problem?
