it sounds like an eye infection. your cat needs to go to the vet for antibiotics

Try gently wiping their eyes with a soft cloth dampened with warm water. Though green discharge is often a sign of infection, it may also be no more than allergies--some cats do have them, and kittens are especially vulnerable. I can't tell if this is the mother you're talking about or the kittens, but the same holds true. If, however, they don't clear up significantly after a few days, do take the cat to your vet for a checkup. Some eye conditions can result in blindness, and resistant conditions are not to be treated ad lib. If the kittens don't have the condition and the mother does, it probably isn't an infection, or it would have passed on to the kittens. Nonetheless, eye problems should be dealt with promptly.
Good luck.

Kittens are much more vulnerable to this kind of conjunctivitis because their immune systems aren't as strong as your adult cats. The kittens stay close to one another so the infection is passed among them.

If you don't want five blind kittens you had better get them to a vet for some treatment. You can clean the eyes up a little with a soft cloth and witch hazel so they can see better and only a vet can give you the right stuff to get rid of the problem.

The green discharge is an indication of infection. Please take them to the vet.
