I was in the middle of moving, and my maincoon got out. He is an indoor cat, and is very large and long haired. I live in Florida, and the heat has been miserable.
I am very scared he is doing very badly outside. There is no trace of him anywhere... i put food and toys and a bed out for him, but he hasnt returned.
Can anyone help with suggestions?

this cat only gets excited when eating or getting ear scratchings. this cat is so laid back it doesn't even mind being vacuumed. it's not over weight and lazy either, just incredibly chill. pet her all you want and she'll never get annoyed. have you ever seen a cat like this? most are soooo picky over everything and get annoyed!

One of my neighbors moved and left all of their cats there. They have been gone for about 2 or 3 weeks and the cats have started wandering to my house. They are all starving and really skinny. Only about 8 of them come to my house, but there are about 11 still there starving. I can't afford to feed them or to take them to a shelter, but I don't want them to starve to death. Some of them are so scared that they won't let you touch them. I know they did'nt used to be wild so I think they are scared and confused. I need some help... any advice???

Does anyone out there have any idea if you can get an over the counter sedative for cats. I have a stray cat that needs to have a flea dip, but there is no way she is gonna let me do it, without her freaking out.

Do you know any good ways to get a cat in a carrier. I'm supposed to take my cat to the vet this month to get booster vaccinations and a rabies vaccine but i couldnt get my cat in the carrier or the box. He's so strong; we wrestled for me to try to put him in there but not literally - there was no animal cruelty. It was hard and i even tried to get him by the scruff of the neck but that didnt work because he's so strong. It was bananas. But it must be done so i'll have to get him into the cage somehow. And it's not like he's feral and i'm trying to catch him for the first time. I think i'll get him when he's asleep.

Any suggestions for getting my cat into a carrier please...

i have a siamese house cat who has been nuetered and declawed. i found him as a stray 5 years ago so its hard to say excactly how old he is but im pretty sure its anywhere between 7 and 10 years old. my cat has always been skinny but suddenly hes dropped a lot of weight. he wont eat or drink anything and he hasnt gone to the bathroom in days. he usually screams to get my attention like most siamese do but now he just cries all the time. he seems to have a hard time walking and isn't affectionate at all (this is very odd since my cat is extremely loving and even sleeps right on my chest every night)my cats litterbox, food and water are all in my room like they've always been so he usually just stays in my room all day but hes been spending a lot of time crying in the bathrom. i know i need to bring him to a vet ASAP and i plan on doing so tomorrow but im hoping he has a treatable sickness & doesnt have to be put to sleep if anybody knows what could be wrong please let me know im so sad

My cat is an indoor cat that has recently tasted the outside (literally). The other night she killed a baby bunny. Does anyone have tips to keep her inside? My husband is ready to get rid of her for fear of bringing disease into our house.

My cats go wee wee on ribber back rugs, cushions , couches, chairs...we have three cats. It's horrible. We can't have any furniture. We've tried products like they advertize on tv and from the vet, nothing works. We put cat on paxil to mellow him out. some minor success, but an angry zombified cat was not fun to deal with.

Our 13 year old cat eats fish wet food and fish dry food and he has lost 3 pounds uninteaianly. What is happening? I took him to a vet and they may say that the food nutrients may go right though his urine. IS TOO MUCH FOOD BAD FOR A CATS HEALTH
