I don't know if it is a medical problem or not, but I have two cats about 10 years old, and I have never heard either of them do it! Maybe try feeding it something different.

passing gas is a normal function for all creatures. But you can change his diet to see if that will help. Just like with people some foods give cats more gas than others.

That's funny.

He's probably just gassy...may even have a little diarhea...that's normal in kittens. If he hasn't recieved deworming medicine from the vet (it's usually done automatically with vaccinations) then get it done. Then, make sure you don't make any drastic changes to his diet...the gas will pass (hahaha...no pun intended).

I don't think it's very common for cats to have gas reguarly, but I wouldn't worry about it.

Pay attention to what you're feeding your cat. Certain pet foods cause gas in their pets, and that could be what's happening with you and your cat. God Bless you.

Maybe you could try a different food. I had a friend who's dog had the same problem. She put him on Iams and that took care of the problem.

gas is caused by high fiber content.. you may want to change his food as alot of cheaper brands use alot of fiber as filler that can constipate your cat.

Also, ceck with your vet about certain ingredients in his food that may cause this.

no need to worry as farting is as harmless to cats as it is to humans...i think
