I really do hope your cat is okay and has nothing more than a urinary tract infection. You are right to ensure you get him to a vet as soon as you can.
Sometimes at the age you are talking about, a cat will contract a form of cancer that results in them becoming weak, losing weight despite the same diet as always, loss of mobility, no interest in food or drink and a very low output of either urine or bowel .
You have to understand that your fellow has lived a very good life and long for a cat particularly if he is 10 years old. Siamese are not known for their longevity so you have enjoyed your boy and it is great that you rescued him.
Try not to worry, the vet will ensure that the best help is given to him. It may very well just be something that medication can help and make him feel happy again. If it does happen to be a more serious illness, the vet will be able to assist you there as well.
Getting him to the doctor as early in this as possible will be a great help to getting him back to his normal self again. He still loves you and you still love him...let him know by petting and talking quietly to him.
I'll put a request in for you that he is better soon.
Take care and good luck

Your cat is definately very ill...but it's hard to say if it's treatable or not...you'd be surprised at what a vet can do for an animal.
It is going to be a very long night for you because you are probably so worried that tomorrow won't come soon enough. I feel ya! If the appointment is for the afternoon tomorrow...try calling the vet first thing in the morning and explain that it is an emergency...see if they can get you in early.
In the meantime, do what you can to keep your cat comfortable...even if it's just laying on the floor next to him (he might be too ill to get up into your bed)...having you close by will be a comfort. Also, get the name, number and directions of an emergency vet ready if you feel kitty cannot wait until tomorrow. Just follow your instincts...call the emergency vet now if you feel you need to.
but try not to worry (ha...easier said than done)...you will only drive yourself batty...and it won't change anything.

I really hate to be the one to tell you this but it sounds like your cat may have parvo. Parvo is a very painful disease that many cats get and dogs also. It is contracted from the feces of cats. You may want to type in the keys words Parvo in animals and see what kind of information you can get. Sometimes if the disease isn't to far the Vet may be able to save the cat, however, if it has been acting like this for awhile, the Vet may have to put it a sleep. Have you been keeping up with shots? this is a shot that Vets give usually on you 1st or 2nd visit. If you have been getting his shots then I could be completley wrong. I hope this helps, Good luck and I will be saying a prayer for you and your cat.

We had a seal point siamese that this same thing happened to about 7 years ago. He had some kind of kidney disease/malfunction. We had to put him down within a day of taking him into the vet. He was just in too much pain, and there was nothing we could do to fix it. It came on pretty suddenly. Please get your baby to the vet right away. Every minute sooner you get him there could save his life. I hope all turns out well. Feel free to e-mail me to let me know how it goes. Good Luck from a fellow Siamese lover!

Emergency vet visits are expensive, but you can take your cat to the vet whenever the doctor is in town! Doesn't matter the time.
It can save you money in the long run to take him now so it doesn't get worse. But more importantly:
He could be dead by morning. He may have a disease, be poisioned.. many possibilities. He will probably need to be hooked up to fluids and depending on what else is wrong, need other things too.

That is just so sad and aweful. It's very hard to tell what is wrong with him. If he's been sick for a while it could be some kind of disease. If you just recently noticed the symptoms it could be disease or poisoning. The only way to tell are with tests that your vet will give your kitty. I sincerely hope you can find out what is wrong and that he will be okay. Good luck

Hey,
Take your cat to the vets as soon as possible, it could have an infection internally or it could just be constipated. If an animal is constipated then it will go of it's food, not drink, lose alot of weight and be in quite an amount of discomfort. If so then all it will nedd is ome medication and an enema and then of she'll go again. I would take it to the vets as soon as possible though.

OK science its like 1 am a vet is out of the question but most likely he has like some kinda stomach virus maybe or he has some sorta virus but has he been puking or like any signs of that. idk that much about that type of cat but most of the time if animals are sick then you can give him cooked white rice and maybe he will eat that. i would say that if you really think that he might god for-bid pass tonight then try to find a 24 hour animal hospital or something. also along with the white rice try giving him warm milk. hope hes OK <333

Take it to the vet immediatley this is very important, that way you know for sure, and if its nothing to serious you can help him out, and if it is really serious and you dont have the money to help him out you know you will have to put her down, its hard i know, but you cant let him suffer like this. If she's really skinny and she doesnt, eat, it could possibly be that she has worms, then you can get meds for him at the pet store, to give to him, but it can also be a combination of both that and the heat. YOu have to make sure that he eats, its vital, and check his poop before he kicks the litter over it. If you see any white magot looking or small worms you know for sure he has worms, but either way, my number one suggestion is to take him to the vet, before it's too late! Good Luck!
