Good for you, you have a fly catching cat. My persian won't even move when she sees one. That said, knowing how dirty flies can be(being on poop and trash and places you don't want to know), it will be great if you can keep her from eating flies. ok, I have a flies eating dog(complete the mission of my persian cat). You can't really spray stuff when the dog is chasing it, right? What I ended up doing was setting up flies trap. You can buy those sticky stuff from gardening stores.

They can possibly get worms/parasites from eating flies. Best not to. Also, fleas can spread tapeworm.

I'm sure it doesn't really matter, but of course you should keep your kitten up to date with all vaccinations and possibly medicine that can prevent heartworms and fleas.
