Birds - September 2006

So there is this nest that was in my on top of the gutter of my house and there was a mom dove & her baby(s) idk i could not tell but then i got home today & went to seee if they were still there and one of the baby's had fallen out!! it was ont eh ground in the corner so i felt bad so i went inside & got a shoe box the got to pieces of alumnium foil & made it a food & water bowl and then went back outside and put water into one and found soem worms to put in the other and then i got branches & grass & levae and put them in a pill and laid the shoe box side ways so it could jsut walk in then went over and put hte shoe box down but of course it was so scared it would never go in there on its own so i used GLOVES b/c if it has human sent on it the mother will never take it back it will be regected & places it in the homeade nest.....ok so it has eaten no worms & no water & it keeps going out of thebox back into the corner but it CANNOT fly yet!! thats a problem ....what do i do now???

I'll take any Parrot diet advice you can give. I think she might be bored with her food - although she eats it all. She has peanuts, apples, and Zupreme and Avian Gold parrot food. She's a sun conure.

What should I do for my bird - I'm starting a new job and i will be at work for 9 hours - what should I do so she doesn't get too bored or lonely??? She is a sun conure.

found that white Parakeets (my experinces is with the females) are crazy? I've had two white Parakeets, that were nasty to the other birds, they were distuptive and bit an awful lot. They were and are very unplesant to have. I have one now that picks up and drops the feed bowl. All my other Parakeets don't act this way and I have 5 more. These birds I know weren't abused, they came from good homes. Has anyone had this happen?

i started a new job. i work 2 shifts of 7am to 3 pm and 3 shifts of 3 pm to 11 pm..
i tryed to keep the draps open, so when it gets dark, she would go to her bed and sleep.. but she does not seem to be going to her little bed.. im worried that she is not sleeping, and just sitting in the dark. maybe she is waiting for me to put her sheet on her cage. the latest i get home is 1110 pm.. i hope she is not sitting there for 4 hours waiting for me.. i really dont know. i do take her out of her cage for an hour or 3 a day, to play with her..
+what is the best thing i can do for her?
+what are thing i can do for her to make her happy?
+how much time does she need to sleep?
does any one have some ideas.. i want to make my little baby happy.. does anyone know anything about lovebirds? can you help....
