yes, they can be very good talkers. However if you don't have one but are thinking about it, make sure this is what you want. Birds take a lot of work and need to be played with at least 3-5 hours a day. Sun conures also live about 30 yrs, sometimes longer. Also, you can not use non-stick pans in a house with birds, they release fumes that are not good for humans but can be deadly to birds. Birds also need to be kept in an area that is not drafty(away from windows). And defiantly not in kitchens. Birds can be wonderful companions, they just require a lot of work, make sure you are willing to do these things for a long time since they live longer than most household pets.

no sun conures are not good talkers if you can teach it 10 words its pretty good but the words that they do learn are garbled. but they are very good screamers and whistlers. they love to play and cuddle. for what they lack in speach they make up in attitude and playfullness

Yes , they can talk and have darling little voices! Their vocabulary isn't very big, but the can learn with your patience. Good luck!

Yes they can talk quite well. Ours is female and she is quite the yaffler
