The house we live in is a rental, and our landlord sold it to someone else. Now we've received our 2 month lease, and we have to be out in 60 days!!!! We have 3 dogs, and finding a place will be hard enough without half the $$ for rent!! We get a measly 750 for our deposit, but the $500 pet deposit for a year i suppose is lost, but we've only been here 3 months... seem right to you? I'm SO upset right now... we've got 2 months to find a new place, and limited funds to do so... Is this legal? I've looked at DE's tenant/landlord code, and it doesn't address this issue.

This cat has been here for a few weeks now and he will actually push my cats out of the way when I try to feed them so he can eat their food. Also this stray cat now will rush over to me when I open the door and will eat realy fast. This morning he won't eat the food I have put out. I don't know what is wrong as I can't see anything wrong. I usually call the vet when in doubt but what could I say? Also I can't catch it to go to the vet as it still doesn't let me pat him and I also don't have a car here today. The animal shelter and pound are not an option as they will put him down rather than help him. He ate last night so what could have happened in 12 hours overnight?

I was filling out an adoption application for a dog I was interested in adopting.
The application asks these two questions : How much is your yearly income? and what education do you have (high schoool, college etc)
Do you think these questions are necessary or are they just being nosy?
Your thoughts on these 2 questions on an adoption application for a dog.

Have done my research extensively on both breeds, and no, slobbering is not an issue.. the issue is, I havent found Much info on mastiffs tolerance to weather (hot/cold).
I live in New England, and we have long cold winters... are english mastiffs ok in winter? can they go out in cold weather without sweaters etc?
(Ive found that contrary to popular believe the Short haired st. bernard is actually more tolerant to cold temps than the long haired... good for my carpets too!)
Thoughts on Mastiff Vs. St bernards in general, and for outside in winter.

I have a 2 year old German Shepherd/Husky mix dog. She is so wild, I give her attention, I play with her and still she fails to listen to me. She drags me everywhere when we walk. She's so active and hyper. She likes to jump on you and run around. Will spaying her calm her down a bit? Does anyone have any other suggestions for her naughty behavior? Thanks.

Help! any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm going to have a few of these questions because I need about 100 dogs and their heart rates(just use your hand). I'm going to do some myself but theres no way I can get 100 unless I get some help so thank you! I would also need their height from their withers or shoulders down and if possible, their weight and breed. Once again, THANK YOU!!!!! (and for people who've seen this a million times, sry)

i need the height, breed, and heart rate of dogs for my science fair project. we have this thing called science fair investgations where if we pass the class we go to biology next year so this project is for a grade for us and apparently, the "magic number" is 100. it would really help if you helped out.

I have this adorable 2 year old west highland terrier. He's pretty big for his type of dog, but I love him anyway and find that's what makes him unique from the rest of the dogs.
The problem? He will NOT stop growling! He likes to sleep at the end of my bed at night and if I pull the sheets up, he growls. He growls if the carpet he's lying on gets lifted up a bit. He growls when he THINKS somebody's trying to steal his toy. He growls when you won't let him outside. He growls for no reason at all sometimes. You get the picture. Anyway, I've tried telling him "no!" loudly and I've tried letting him outside when he doesn't want to go but he never stops growling! He is not neglected nor abused, and please don't tell me to abuse him. I love him too much. And I also REFUSE to put a muzzle on my dog. I am not a cruel owner-though putting a muzzle on your dog if he bites isn't cruel, my dog doesn't bite.

She loves to play with the ball but she will never let go of the ball. I don't want her to teach her to be rough so I don't pull the ball away from her. She sometimes drops it but then when you get your hand close she grabs it again. Any suggestions??

Mine do on occasion. It usually happens when we say "no" to another can of food, or when something is blocking "their" spots on the couch.

Okay I plan to buy a female Flemish Rabbit with a nice big cage and everything that a "large" bunny needs. I've went through many changes in decisions on WHAT rabbit to get and I've made my decision. The FLEMISH GIANT!!!! I'm not going to take time to explain why............
but I know all rabbits have different needs and i'm willing to meet each need. So please and thank you!
I need all I can get!
TSM! (thanks so much)

When I was five, my first cat adopted my family. She was white; I named her Snowball (bless her fuzzy little heart; the first and best cat I ever had).

When I was in high school, the next cat adopted us. She was black. We tried naming her something else, but someone carelessly suggested Blackball as a joke, and uh-oh, it stuck.

The next adopter arrived shortly thereafter. She was a grey and white tabby. Mom tried valiantly to name her something else (I believe "Kiki" was her choice) ... but alas, the name that stuck was ... Grayball.

My current fuzzball came from the kill shelter. She's blue. And yes, her name follows in the grand tradition of her "_____ball" predecessors ... poor thing (although the vet and groomer know her as "Blue" for short).

Husband named the boy cat -- his name is Buddy (because husband [also a lame pet namer] calls all cats, dogs, and other animals "buddy.") 'Fess up -- does your cat have an objectively silly name that just, well, *stuck*?

Does it annoy anyone else when people just answer your question with 'Watch _______ ' - usually the 'Dog Whisperer' when the programme specifically states that you should not try this?

Also when they answer with this even though it would not help? E.g someone asked about best dog food brand - How does watching this help an owner pick out a good quality dog food?

I know sometimes there can be some good tips from watching programmes such as this {I work as a trainer myself and use some of these methods}, but on some questions don't you think people take that answer too far?
