It's about to get really cold outside, should i go and get this cat it's shots, and get a nice flea bath so he can stay in with me and my cat, Mr. Cooper, or is it always going to be an outside cat? He looks about a year to a year and a half...VERY healthy (plump). I feed the cat, so is that enough for him to survive the winter in Indiana?

as weird as that sounds, my mom and i noticed it and she's been licking herself there for a few days now. this is my first experience raising a lab and just want to make sure that she stays crated if this is her time to be in heat.

yeah i went to vet to finally get her stitches out the vet said it will be normal to see that knot type spot on her tummy. it looks bumpy will it disapear and be like that for her. this is from being spayed btw. It just feels like the vet didn't do it right and i get worried. my cat seems fine though.

My landlord started a no pets policy in my buliding. Since I had my cat before he took over, we had a verbal agreement I can keep him under the condition that he as well as none of my nieghbors see's him in the window. I don't want any answers on how my landlord can or can't make me get rid of him. I want to know if there's any way i can stop him from jumping up there. There's been a ton of complaints on how unfair it is that we're the only ones with a pet and I guess it's becoming a bigger issue than we thought. My landlord said if we don't stop him from getting up there we have to get rid of him or he's evicting us. We have a week. Help!!! I can't lose my little baby, he's part of the family. I heard there may be a spray but I have a one year old. Is there anything else besides locking him in one room cuz that would be so mean!!

I did have mollies and platies in one 30 gallon tank, but they reproduced to the point that they were at risk of over crowding the tank, so I removed the males and put them in their own 30 gallon.

In the "boy's tank", there are 2 mollies, 3 platies and an angel. The mollies and angel are happy and active, but my platies tend to hide. There are 2 juvenile ones that are more active than their father, but still, they tend to hide most of the time and even dug a hold under a bit of driftwood to hide in. I never knew platies would do that.

Is this normal? When they were in the other tank they were active and almost never hid. Also in the other tank, they didnt divide themselves, but now they seem to be in separate small schools...the mollies and platies really dont associate with each other, whereas in the "girl tank" they dont seem to even notice they are different.

Are platies naturally more shy than mollies? Or do I have to worry about them being ill?

I saw the 6 lb parents and she is already bigger than them. She is not a purebred. She has a slight mix of pomeranian on her father's side. Both parents looked very much like chi's.

I do know a bit about saddle fit, and my old saddle didnt fit right, and caused my horse to get white hairs on his withers. I bought a new saddle. Its a billy cook, which I was told was a good brand. I still worry though, cause when Im done riding him, and take his saddle off, he had dry spots on both sides of his withers, I have tried three different pads so far, the classic equine ESP, and just a regular 1 inch felt top, and some other brand a friend of mine swears by, but they still leave some dry areas. It isnt real distinct in the last pad I tried today, but he was all sweaty in the back of the saddle, and it sort of faded into a dry area towards his withers. I dont know what to do. I cant afford a new saddle again, and I dont know what to try next????????? My horse is the tall narrow, gangly type. Hes 15.3 and hes only 3 yrs old paint gelding. Hes also real hollowed out behind the withers, so I doont think that helps my situations. What should I do????

i have hillstream loaches and white cloud mountainminnows in the tank and would like a peaceful solitary coldwater fish to add to complete a community setup, preferably in size range of 15 to 20 cm approx.
thanks for any suggestions (and no my tank is not already overstocked, many aquarists whove seen it and shops have told me it isnt so there is plenty room for the extra fish so no offense no advice please on cycling or overstocking etc
thank Nick
p.s ok then 2 hillstream loaches (may buy 1 more) on driftwwod fed algae wafers, (2inches and 2.5 inches) and 8 mountain minnows.(may buy 4/5,more) the tank is aerated with a airr pump for the loaches and a filter which is OVER filtration so as to ensure filtration is more than required. there is good water flow over the loaches patch and it is a good setup for them.

My 8 month old kitten was spayed when I bought her and in a kennel with her sister. I am convinced she was taken from her mom too soon. She is an only cat & has many toys. We don’t let her outside because she fights the neighbor cats. I love on her all the time, sing her name to her and play with her. All too often when one of us tries to pet her, her eyes will dilate, sometimes ears go back and bite or scratch seriously like she is feeling threatened. I first tried the firm, "No, Misty." 3 weeks later went to the tap on the butt and a "No, Misty!" I noticed that the tap caused her to feel more threatened so I stopped. Now when she latches on to my hand I tell her firmly, "No, Misty." Freeze and hopefully she lets go then leave her alone. I have started picking her up when she lets go, talk to her gently, stroke her back-she does calm down until I put her down and try to play or pet. She sleeps with me and I know she loves me but how do I get her to stop feeling angry / threatened?

I was told it doesn't, but it looks like it's a hybrid in these photos. The long snout and the brown on the hind legs. What do you think?
