2. Food: Reptomin Floating Fish Sticks. This is the best whole diet. You should supplement the food with fresh leafy veggies, cooked chicken, other sources of protein. But try the Reptomin first.

Why are you cutting up shrimp?

A good turtle diet is 1/2 good quality pellets, and 1/2 live or frozen/thawed 'fish foods' like worms, shrimp, insects, small fish, krill, or things like beef heart strips.

Other reasons a turtle does not eat includes cold water, dirty water, small tank, etc.

I have two red eared sliders and when I first got them they would not eat either. Just keep putting the in the tank and also try getting some turtle pellets and romaine lettuce.
