Make sure that it is warm enough. They're cold blooded, so when the ambient temperature gets too low, its metabolism slows down and it wont eat or digest its food. Giving is a heater or a heat lamp usually takes care of the problem. Mine have a heat lamp because they tend to think they're going to start hibernating if the light isn't on long enough. If it go into a false hibernation, it will also stop eating, and it may take some convincing before it'll start again.

Turtles don't have to eat every day, necessarily, so if it's only been a day or so, the problem may just be lack of appetite. However, if this is a new turtle, I would suggest taking it to a vet who specializes in reptiles to make sure that it isn't carrying any parasites and that it is healthy. The vet can also give you tips to get your turtle eating again.

Well like others said you gave very little details. Could be he is not warm enough and second he may just not be hungry. If you recently got him or moved him he may just need to get comfortable where he is. I would not worry to much myself, Make sure the turtle has plenty of water and fresh food and he will not let himself starve.

If it is a new pet, you might just have to be patient. I have turtles too and at first they won't eat. You can try putting it in a separate, smaller container and drop the food in. It might take very long to eat at first. Gradually, you might even be able to hand feed it:) good luck^^

Because you are keeping it and/or feeding it wrong.
Since you gave no details whatsoever, there can be many things you're doing wrong. You should start by reading some books on basic turtle care.

What kind do you have and what is it doing?
If it is one that hybernates they stop eating before they go down, could be temps, could be parasites, could be could be.....
With out knowing more about what kind and what else its doing its hard to say. A vet check could be in order.
here is a web site with care sheets
