i have fleas in my house and everyone ive asked says borax works wonderful,but i also have a 8 month old baby that likes to crawl. so is it safe to use with her?

so my guniea pig melody just died.

i wasent even home to say good bye.

this just made a bad week worse.

my room looks so empty without her.

poeple say she was just a rat but she has been there for me a for a really long time.
since about 7th grade.

she was there to watch cartoons with me when i had mono and no one else was home.

she was so funny when she would run around her little house like she was a race car driver.

she loved to be with people.

when you would walk by my room all you had to do was say squeerks and she would go nuts.

i rember when i first got her the lady at the store said she was a boy..then she had babies lol

yea she was a pet..but to me she was more..she was a friend

and she is gone now..just like that..

no good byes
no second chances
just gone

My puppy had kennel cough and the vet put him on Clavamox and something else that I don't remember that was suppose to loosen the mucus in his lungs. Anyways, I noticed that he had tapeworms and I asked a question before about homeopathic remedies for tapeworms but now, it looks like the tapeworms are going away. Is there any chance that either medicine that the vet put him on indirectly got rid of the tapeworms? I looked online for information but there is none. If anyone knows the answer or if Clavamox has helped their pet with tapeworms please let me know. I just want to know if it is a positive side effect or at least a possibility.

My grandmothers dog, uses the bathroom anywhere in the house cause she isn't house trained. I want to clean the floors with something so that she don't use the bathroom everywhere. I know it some cleaner I can use to get the odor and the smell out, so when thats gone she probably won't use the bathroom in that spot again. So is there anything I can use for my wooden floors?

By another cat, me and my cat have recently moved to a appartment, at first my cat kept running back to the old area we lived, I had to keep brining him back. Now at last he seems to have settled but a slightly larger cat that lives in the appartment is constantly terrorising my cat what can I do to put a stop to it any ideas guys. She is forcing my cat to keep running away, this continues and he could get knocked down by a car as my old house is quite a distance.

My retreiver stays outside all the time, he has a large area to play but he still bits and chews the fence. anyone know what i should do, my hubbie wants to take him to the pound but i dont think thats fair. he is full breed and neutered. teeth are ok got them checked.

my father bought my son a welsh corgi for christmas. this was a little over two years ago. the dog was a puppy at the time and we lived in an apartment. the dog ruined our carpet and we had to more (i paid over a $1000 for carpet replacement). the dog has an anxiety disorder, an immune diffencicy that doesn't allow him to supress the mange parasite (about 300 bucks for medicine, 3 times a year). you can't have his nails trimed without being put to sleep (vet wont even do it, puts the dog under too much stress) and continues to go on the carpet even though he gets taken out constantly. constant barking.....i could go on forever. training hasn't helped. i don't want to give him to anyone else becasue of the expense they would have to take on, but i don't want him to be put to sleep (vet suggestion). help. oh, and my dad won't take him. please don't suggest that, we've already tried that route. he blames us for poor training. whatever.....help please. for the sake of the dog.

My dog is a 70lb shepherd cross. He is 1.5 years old, and for the first 8 months of his life he was a stray in Greece. We have tried the BARF diet, and several high quality kibbles.

The main problem is that he seems to lose his appetite. Anytime we have tried a new kibble he gobbles it up for a day or two, then he doesn't want anything to do with it. We can hear his stomach growling and he still won't eat!

We have tried to stimulate his appetite by adding canned food, chicken broth, liver powder, and a few other things added to his food. He just doesn't care. He will however eat his treats, which is freeze dried liver primarily. He had a check up at the vet and we were given the all clear. What can I do? Home cooking is not an option because we just don't have the time to make sure the amounts and nutrients are properly balanced for him.

My friend's cat has gotten very ill because a large mass was found in his chest and he constantly needs to have fluid drained. He's fine for a bit afterward, but after a week or so, he has to be taken back to be drained They think he might need to be put down, But I have to know, it there any other way? I sugested surgery, but the mas is so large that they're afraid if they do surgery, it'll be too wraped around his vitals to do anything. Please, I don't want this cat to die, he's not very old (only about 6 or so), can anyone think of something?

My cat was under the bed, so I tried moving the bed, but he didn't move. He seems to have a hard time laying down and sitting. He looks like he's gonna go potty when he sits (he looks more like he's squatting). I have like $4 to my name, so I can't afford to pay some know it all...I just need to know what MOST LIKELY is going on w/ him...does anyone have any (knowlegable) ideas?

He's specifically peeing on my clothes and bed sheets. I caught him pulling a shirt out of my laundry basket and getting on it- getting ready to pee. The litter box is cleaned daily- he still uses it. I see him go in and pee and/or defecate, but he'll then pee on an article of clothing five minutes later.

This started on Thursday night (today is Saturday, Oct 20)- I've caught him on six seperate occasions.

We have a fairly routine life- I can't think of anything that could be stressing him. I did do a lot of traveling last week, but I've traveled before and never had this issue when I came back before.

Should I take him to the vet? Or is this a behavioral retaliation issue?

Im so so confused as what 2 feed my tortie,
The lady in the shop where i bought her from said fruit and veg, plenty of fruit everyday and lots of veg except lettuce.
Ive done lots of research on the web and it said fruit and veg should be given as treats - especially fruit!
Different websites say different things, im so confuddled :-(
At the moment shes eating kale, apple and cucumber, ive put carrot down and shes not so keen on that. She loves the kale!
Im also putting tortoise supplements on it aswell.
She seems fine, but am i feeding her the right thing??????

I have a cat which is just over a year old now, and we have been thinking about getting a dog but the only problem is the cat. the cat is already quite a jumpy cat and get nervous pretty easily. is it possible it introduce a puppy to the cat and if so whats the best way of doing it.

I bought a light to put on top of my betta fish tank to try and keep the water warm. However when it,s on my fish seems to freak out-he keeps puffing up his gills!! I thought he was lacking oxygen but my husband thinks he feels threatened and tries to look tough. Any ideas??

When my dog was in my fenced backyard sleeping because our house was being washed and cleaned and the floors were wet and everybody went out except me of course. After about 10 minutes later my neighbors cat suddenly jumped the fence and scratching my dogs face and was able to rip his ear off. I was able to get the cat to stop by using the hose. I quickly brought my dog to the vet and he healed quickly. Why would the cat suddenly do that?
