We've had a very good experience with our rabbit. She is easy to care for in the sense that she is happy being in her cage for most of the day. We let her roam around the house for hours at a time, though we use a toddler gate to block off parts of the house we don't want her to get into. She is used to the litter box in her cage, so she usually does not leave messes. When she is out and about, she sometimes has moods in which she wants to be left alone, and other moods when she is hungry for attention and comes up to us begging for us to pet her. As long as you regularly feed a rabbit, give it exercise and attention, and clean it's cage, it will most likely be friendly toward you.

I would get a rabbit if I was you. They are easy to care for, inexpensive, and if you play around with it a lot, it will be tame and will let you hold it a lot. Good luck on getting a pet, you really should consider a rabbit. I hope I was a big help to you!

teddy bear hamsters are sweet. dwarf hamsters are the devil incarnate. I've never had a rabbit live long enough for me to determine whether it was nice or not. Birds are nice but very very messy. Turtles are gentle but lack personality. Hedgehogs are super cute but I've never had one and they're illegal in some places.

a mouse. theyre great. they can be held, and roll in a ball quite easily. they live 2-3 years, which is good. they dont take too much time and energy, but that doesnt mean you can ignore it. as far as being nice to you, be nice to it, and itll most likely like you. good luck!

Rats are great! Don't listen to people who think they are gross. They are easy to take care of, loving, affectionate, fun to play with, and if you train them right they're obediant

Possibly a guinea pig, or a ferret maybe. Research them and choose what you like best.
