my kitty!! :) I dont know her breed because I got her from an adoption center at Petsmart, but she is a calico and she is the best cat ever!! :)
and I used to have a Persian cat when I was younger that was the MOST affectionate cat ever, he was the sweetest, adorable amazing kitty ever... but he died during surgery :( i was devastated and yea... Persians are sweet, but the one I got after him wasnt very sweet, actually he wasnt sweet at all... but my cat now is and she isnt a persian :)
I think the breed doesnt really matter, just depends on the personality. Bc i have a friend who has a Siamese who is so mean, he scratched me once... and another friend who has a Siamese which is so sweet and affectionate.... So some breeds are known to be more affectionate, but I think it depends on the personality.

I have a Russian Blue, an Egyptian Mau, and an Abyssinian. I would have to say my Egyptian is the most laid-back and affectionate of all 3.

His name is Frodo and a real sweetheart. The other 2 are very affectionate also, but, Frodo is by far the most.

It does not matter on what breed it is, all that matters is personality. All cats are affectionate and of course cute! Don't go to a pet store to by your kitty because those cats are from puppy mills, i suggest going to a shelter and go a few times so you can see what the kitten is all about. To find your local shelter just check the net.

My Russian Blues, hehehe.
Well all cats are different. Not all cats are cuddly and affectionate and snuggle with you. This has nothing to do with breed, in my opinion, but rather with the personality the cat is born with.

I have a siamese and he's the most affectionate cat I've ever owned. He gives me kisses every morning to wake me up and every night before I go to sleep. He sleeps with my boyfriend and me in the bed. He's very vocal and he's a lap kitty.

the ones that are cats.

ALL cats are the cutest and most affectionate. (atleast to their owners)...rescue one from the pound or rescue group, they are the best kind.

I have a tuxedo and she is sweet. She talks through meows and I understand her...that is scary...She was the runt of her litter...

I also own a calico and an all black one who are not as friendly. Really depends on the individual cats personality.

Well, I'm kind of biased and I'll have to say my cat is, but unfortunately, she also likes to drink from the toilet, so when she comes up to give me a big, wet kiss, well...
