Ok, so I have two great dogs, one is three years old and the other is 8 months. The puppy, a male, is an excessive drooler during meal time. He has been dewormed and is up to date on shots and has regular vetrinary checkups. Anyways my other a female, has never in her life excessively drooled during meal time except for recently, and I am wondering, is she learning this behavior from the male puppy whom is a dominate dog?

I'm adopting a cat. What's a good cat name? I have a dog and I'm wondering if it will get along with her. She's a small friendly one though. I don't know what cat I'm getting right now but we are looking.

We tried Purina 'tidy cats' litter. it is very very fine and gritty. Our cat has very long fur. He is now not eating or drinking anything and is very sick but vet can't find anything wrong. Only two weeks ago she said he was really healthy. Could he have licked this litter off his fur and now have a stomach full of it? if so, what can we do? Has anyone had a similar experience? Please help.

I just recently got a new place- everything about it is perfect- its in great condition. Well- I brought along my two cats, both who are fixed and moderatly OKAY when it comes to being good.

The only bad thing about them is their cat box! It's just out of this world hideous smelling.

I used unscented scoopable litter so that I can easily scoop up their poop and pee everyday but there is just something about the smell of their bathroom habits.

The smell is so bad that the cat box is in a closet that is off of the bathroom, and I can smell the cat box before I get into the kitchen- and the bathroom is off of the kitchen- the cat box is in the closet off the bathroom.

I NEED HELP- If people come over, the first thing they are going to smell is the litter box- it's embaressing and disgusting. Please help!

I have an 11 week old German Shepherd puppy. I take him for walks twice a day. How long should these walks be? How far or how long should he be walking now? I don't want to over-exercise him, but I want him to get a good work out.

We have a kitten who is almost 6 months old. We found him almost dead in the neighbors back yard. The vet felt that he was about 4 weeks old. He has grown to be an amazingly beautiful cat. But, he won't use the litter box! When he was very small we, of course, cleaned up after him but at about 6 weeks we started putting him in the litter box whenever he looked as if he had to go and I thought he got the hang of it. I believe he did use it intermitently. Now he looks for anything on the floor. If someone leaves a towel on the bathroom floor, that's were he goes to the bathroom. If someone leaves part of the Sunday paper on the living room floor that will be what he'll use.
We have another cat who always uses the litter box and we have 3 boxes. I keep them clean and have tried many different types of litter.
Right now I leave a section of the paper next to each litter box and he goes on the paper. But I'd like him to use the litter box. Help!

I have a terrible dilemma. I have a dog who I adore. I'm about to start a business where I'll be really busy a lot of the time. A nice couple has offered to take my dog. They'll give him a great life, I know them. Lots of family and other dogs to play with. My dog will be loved and cared for. But I love him. He's the sweetest, most loving dog I've ever had. He's a lap dog, all he wants is love love love. But I'll be busy. I can't cry any more. I have to decide. Help.

Hi, I recently (today) got a 9 week old male kitten, his name from the previous own was Mushie...but that has to change. I also have a 14 month old daughter who is quick advanced for her age and can say about 20 words including kitty. Anyways I was looking for a name for this kitten, besides BOB, cause that's all I can come up with and was wondering if any of you had an idea. BTW he is black with a little bit of brown-red fur starting to appear at the shoulders.

We are thinking of adopting a Brinle pitbull at 8-9 months of age and she is so cute but the only thing I worry about is the fact that pitbulls have a bad reputation of attacking owners, neighbors or kids. She seems to get along with kids and other dogs and cats at this point, but I can't get over the fact that they have a bad reputation.

I wonder if the operation to spay and neuter pets is similar to operations made on humans. Humans can still enjoy sexual relations after the operation. But I noticed pets are no longer interested, or is my observation not correct?

I am curious at what are the laws in ohio for having in home cats.. The neighbor next to me have at least 30 cats in her home and at least once a week she takes bags of dead cats out from where her house is soo dirty... You have to wear a mask inside. Its horrible.. You can smell the litter clear outside... Its a 2 bedroom trailer and she give sthe rooms to the cats and sleeps in a bed in the living room. Its very unhealthy shes even been feeding all the cats in the neighborhood and I have trouble keeping them out of my trash. I have complained number of times to the park manager and she just uped the price of the rent because of all the cats in the park. Now we all have to suffer. On top of that she stoled my new neighbors simease kitten and took it inside I had one of the neighbors who has a key go over there and get it out while she wasnt home. What can I do.??? This is just nasty and I cant deal w/ it anymore... Legally what are my decisions...HELP W/ CAT WOMAN

I realized that the mom hamster wasn't moving nor breathing, so my curiosity took me into " poking " her , then flip her over .. just to make shur. By the side view, it seemed like the babies were sucking on her, for milk. yet, it wasnt it .. Her stomach was widely open and the babies were eating her insides. I'm not quite shur how old are the babies, yet there eyes aren't open .. What should I do now ? Will they be able to live without there mom's milk ? or do i gotta put up some milk for them ? ahhh.. I really have no idea on giving them food nor drink ? :S HELPPP !
