I work for a vet clinic and they sent it home with me so i could do it there but the parvo test they gave me are the new ones and they did not send me with instructions on how to use the new test and the pup needs the test done before i can take it back to work with me so i dont expose it to other animals if it is sick . I tried to contact someone from work on insructing me but have had no luck! I no its a fecal matter test but i want to make sure i conduct the new test properly

It requires blood work, so unless you can draw blood and test in in your at-home vet lab, you need to see the vet. The vet is alos the only one who has access to the info and things you will need to treat a pup with parvo.

You call the vet and tell him you are on your way.. Load the dog in the car.. start the car and drive to the vet.
When you get there, let them know you have arrived.. Vet will do the parvo test.. Voila you are done..

You can't do the test yourself! If you need to have your dog tested for Parvo, then you need to make an appointment with your vet.

Only the vet can test for parvo so you cannot do it at home.

One like she said only a Vet could do it and two dont try to do it your own way you may hurt the puppy. let trained people do the testing for anything on your animal.

Well the reason behind this is.....There is a lot of cheap food out there that isn't good for Dogs at all and by tasting it will tell you the quality of the food. I have done it before and have seen people at the petstore do it to. It isn't a big deal
