Hi, I recently (today) got a 9 week old male kitten, his name from the previous own was Mushie...but that has to change. I also have a 14 month old daughter who is quick advanced for her age and can say about 20 words including kitty. Anyways I was looking for a name for this kitten, besides BOB, cause that's all I can come up with and was wondering if any of you had an idea. BTW he is black with a little bit of brown-red fur starting to appear at the shoulders.

Kiki is always easy because it sounds like kitty. But that may be moreso for a female. How about Max? One syllable, easy for the cat to understand and for your daughter to say. Plus it's just a cool name.

Max, Jacks, Bud, Buddy, Toby, Luke, Fluff, Spike, Spot, Mousy, Todd, Paul, Mickey, Mikey
My favorites have always been a person name....less humiliating when yelling out the door for a cat.

I know this is a bit over done, but Fluffy is usually easy for a child to say, other then Kitty. Some other names:Jellybean, Mittens, Spot, Teddy.

When I was little one of my words was kitty ("kee").
I like Bob! I would stick with a one-syllable name.
