I want to take my bird outside a bo possitive that he is safe! I was wondering if there is something like a leash I could put him on or in that wont hurt him so he can come with me to play outside. I know a lot of people will say to put a cage outside for him but there are a lot of preditors that can get to him in his cage like snakes that surround the house. Thank you for your answers! And if you are going to be a smarta** dont even bother to answer!

I beleive that when your fish's scales are black and pop out like a pinecone, thats fungus. So I got some treaters and dropped them in the tank. Scales are stil repesenting a pine cone. Is it Fungus or something else?

I am sorry for this long explanation but I think it is necessary for you guys not to think I am just paraniod or something...
I have three cats, aged 6 years, 2 1/2 years, and a little over a year. I have been having major problems with my landlord...such as, I caught him going into my place for no reason while I wasnt home (or wasnt supposed to be home), he always knows what me and my boyfriend were discussing the night before (in our apartment which is on second floor, and the same things happened to our downstairs neighbor, several times), he says we can plant stuff, then when we do, he rips everything out the second we finished and even throws our potted plants upside down in the neighbors garden, and he recently complained about my cats sneaking outside....
So, two of my cats got outside the other day, now they have uncontrolable diarrea, they lost a sunstancial amount of weight, will not eat or drink anything, and they are moaning.
Do you think they were poisoned? 3rd cat OK

I have a 5 year old Chihuahua and she is gorgeous. She was my mothers and my mother had bred her once before. now that she is mine I was wondering how long I should wait to breed her after she has gone into heat.

My baby, Mog died this morning. The vet has arranged for her to be cremated and us to have her ashes back in an urn. But I can't imagine that there will be a lot - she was half the weight of an normal adult cat anyway. So I'm curious to know what sort of urn it will be. Will it be sealed? Any helpful answers appreciated XXX

So I was leaving work yesterday and around the corner came this, GORGEOUS blue and white pitbull, and scared the living bajeesus out of me. He had no collar, but was neutered. Anyways, I knelt down to pet his cute little buns, and he was giving me kisses and what not, anyways, long story short... I really thought about picking him up and taking him home with me cuz he was SO damn gorgeous, but I knew someone was probably missing him. Later on that evening, as I found out today, his owner located him (apparently he ran off, famous pitbull move) and was BEATING him senseless in my work parking lot because he ran off. Now I feel completely guilty that I DIDN'T just take him home and love and care for him like he should have been...
What would you guys do in this situation? Apparently he comes around a lot, should I nab him next time, or am I over stepping my boundaries? I'm just so mad and angry that someone could hit him like that, he was SOOO sweet.
Thoughts?

she has never done this before. She is due any day now is this a sign she may labour tonight.

My friend just adopted a stry cat. She stays outside all the time. Ussually she dosen't want to tbe held but now she purs and stay around your legs wanting you to hold her. Her tummy has gotten big so we think she might be pregnant. PLEASE HELP!! Thanks guys!!

I bought an african grey parrot 4 years ago and i didnt realise it would affect my asthma,i get wheezy when i spend a lot of time with him.i have bought an air purifyer which has helped loads,i have coped ok for 4 years because i love my parrot but i keep thinking,will i be really ill in a few years?would it be better for me and the parrot if i took him to the sanctuary where he could meet other birds,but then i think of how much i love him and think i may miss him too much?please help!

yesterday i was sittting with my puppy in the kitchen and all of a sudden my dog looked into our great room in outer space and nothing in particular and started continously growling and barking standing perfectly still.do you think it possibly could have been a spirit?i doubt but you never know.

as i assume that most of you are aware that all mn slaughter houses have been closed down for the purpose of most people are going , buying horses and slaughtering them for many cruel reasons.

my pros and cons are
pros- horses can not be baught for slaughter any more.
cons- as for the other horse that truly need them, because they are sick is truly unfair because the farmer now only has the choice of putting it to sleep and hireing a rendering company (which would b to much money.), leaving their horse to suffer and die on its own (way to painful!) or shooting it! (which is way to cruel!)
i say that they should open a few in each state that can humainely slaughter them by recomadition of a vet. this way it is fair for the horse and owner.

so my q is,
what are your guys pros and cons on them closing all slaughter houses 4 horses?

I Was Thinking Of Leaving My Horse Without Shoes,
I Ride English And The Horse Would Be Rode 4-5 Times A Week
For About An Hour Probley Less, It Would Be Ride Indoor With A Soft Dirt Or Outdoor With Sand Occasionally in the Feild.
I Wouldnt Be Doing Many Competitions Mabey One Every Month Or Less.
I Would Be Walking Aronud 2 Warm Up, Trot, Canter And A Few Jumps. And The Horse Would Be Turned Out All Year Apart From Winter
Should This Be Ok.
If The Hooves Are Getting Cracked And In Bad Condition I Will Get Them Shoed.

I have a turtle set up in my basement in one of those bathtub size plastic outdoor plastic ponds you can buy at a garden center. Outside of the area under his basking light, most of the pond surface does not get a lot of light and any of the aquarium plants I have tried tend to die. Can someone suggest any water plants that can tolerate low light conditions?

my cat has a hole on his side its small but visible. i noticed a bumb on him so i felt it and some kind of goo came out it smelled like poop. looked clearish but like theirs a little blood in it. i REALLY cant afford a vet. my moms in russia with cancer she coming back she just wanted to see what the doctors their will say. so im keeping him home. but i only have 20 dollars and its for a b-day but instead im going to buy kitty littter for him hes and outside cat luike he eats sleeps alittle at home and goes out for a day or 2 but what do i do PLEASE help i cried my eyes out yesturday.PLEASE. and i cant afford a vet im with my dad for 2 weeks and he cant afford it either.

She is a 4 yr old spayed female. I am moving and not able to take her. She is gentle and believes she is a lap dog. She is current on all shots. She does well with adults and kids but the kids should be older roughhousing makes her to protective.She gets along with all other dogs but does not like cats. She is housebroken and loves to run and play a lot, so a larger area would be nice
She can shake hands and give a high 5

First off, my dog is a husky/akita mix. I know they tend to dig. A little does not bother me, but this is getting ridiculous! I used to keep her tied up because she would escape the yard. She dug constantly. I talked to a dog trainer and they said if she is off the chain then she will quit digging. The fence was replaced and now she is untied. She quit digging for a couple weeks, but now is back at it again. I have tried to just about everything. I heard putting chicken wire under the dirt. She is sporatic on where she digs so that really wont work unless i do the whole yard. I have put her poo in a hole she has dug and that hole she never touched again. Problem there is i havent seen her poo in weeks. have two dogs, hard to know whose is whose. Lately she has been digging under the house. This hole keeps getting bigger and bigger. I am at a loss...is there anything else to try or any advice out there? I am about ready to put duck tape on her feet.

My 16 yr old cat is starting to have kidney issues. The vet has recommended buying cat food that has between low protein, 9-12% protein. He said that the prescription diet contains 8% and she does not have to go on that yet. I have searched, but can not find food with less than 28% protein. Any suggestions?

I need someone to strip it down and revarnish it, polyurethane maybe and also repaint the metal areas on it. I would provide all materials I just need labor costs.

I am getting bids from people, I just do not have time to do it myself and need it done by january.

Does anyone have any knowledge what a good labor price is for someone to do this so I know?
