not if it is done with a SAFE dye.

Manic panic hair dye will give you more perminent results (lasts up to 4 months)

sugar free cherry coolaid gives you a temporary look that will wash out in about 2 weeks.

make sure she is well groomed before hand and has no sore spots on her skin or dry skin...if shes healthy its not cruel.

for the koolaid method take a cup of SUGAR FREE cherry koolaid powder and add a little water to make a paste, it should be THICK, put it on the hair you want dying, leave for at least 15 mins then wash out with warm water, the coulor will fade over time and baths.

for manic panic (more perminent) please be aware, manic panic is the ONLY human grade hairdye you can use on your dog safey as it is VEGITABLE based...do NOT use the haircolours you find at the grocery store ect as the chemicals can do alot fo damage to the dogs skin and coat.)
use as directed for human hair, leave for 15 mins and wash out. it should last at least 4-8 bathtimes.

my dogs have always been different colours for halloween, manic panic and koolaid are the methods the groomers in "the creative grooming" compertitions ues.
it doesnt harm them they dont bother, they like the attention and its done for holidays for fun (not because i want my dog to match my outfit)

A. She's 16, why would you spank her? That's kind of rude anyway. B. Using a belt is abuse you basically tried using a weapon. C. Spanking is not the correct form of discipline anyway. If it's wrong when people painfully punish circus animals is wrong why is hitting your daughter with a belt not? D. She's pregnant. Imagine the pain she already experiences from....hmm I don't know...the living being inside her! You see how many things are wrong! You are defiantly an abusive parent and she has every right to call the cops on you. Do you realize the punishment you caused could have possibly injured the little fragile human inside her. So what you wanted her to lie on her stomach on top of the baby or on her back where the womb is exposed and you could have easily hit her! Your a sick woman! Your trying to leave a bruise on her too, and you come here looking for sympathy? Your sick, abusive and deserve prison. Do you realize she needs your support now, do you think she doesn't feel guilt with the fact that she's pregnant? Your neglecting her needs and right now she needs support. I'd call the cops right now if I knew your address.

Well, I don't particularly care for things like that, but if the dye was non-toxic, then no it's not cruel. Why anyone would want to change the already natural beauty of a dog is beyond me though because I think dogs are fine just the way they are!

It's not cruel, but why people can't accept how their dogs look naturally? Nothing is better the natural beauty.

You need to check with a vet and see if this will hurt the puppy. If not then it is fine.

depends on how it's done.
It can be don to were the dog is not harmed, then no this is not cruel. not something to call aspca for.
just another way people humanize their dogs.

It's not cruel unless it causes undue stress on the puppy or causes harm.

It is not, however, in good taste.

I think so. But one of the vet techs at my vet's did it to her little poodle thing and put pictures all over, and it follows her around the office. So I guess it won't kill them. They seem embarrassed though so I wouldn't do it.

God has created those creatures in their most beautiful picture.... If you think about this again ... your puppy won't look so good!!! How would you feel if someone dyed your hair pink and took you for a walk out in the street???
