I think it is lovely that your friend has adopted a stray ... if she has only just adopted her, and kitty has been living rough for a while before that, then it is quite possible that she could be pregnant.
The first thing to do is to get her to a vet so that she can be checked over - if she is showing then it is probably too late to get her spayed now until after the kittens are born... but the vet will advise you.
It would be good if she could be persuaded to stay in the house until the kittens are born and raised - otherwise she might have them somewhere that you do not know about, which will put both her and the babies at risk - plus the kittens then stand a good chance of growing up wild and producing yet more cats who are in danger.
See if you can entice her in, feed her lots of good quality food (as much as she will eat) and supply lots of cardboard boxes around the house so that she can start to choose a safe place to have her babies.
Good Luck - and well done for caring

Does it breath weird? Your friend should go to the vet and ask the vet person if the cat is alright. Or maybe your friend can go back to the place where she got the cat and ask what the cat's record was, where it was found, how it was found. Just in case also, be careful with the tummy if it is pregnant. Also be sure for it to go to the vet because my dog died with cancer in her stomach and her stomach grew really big. Hope the cat is alright. My cat hopes so too! <(0_0)> Meow!

first of all you people are so rude this person wants help not a lecture and did a good thing by adopting a stray cat sheesh.so heres my answer sounds like it is cats do give birth within two months or so so you wont have to wait long second you cannot spay a cat if pregnant.must wait till she has her babies.then yes please get it spayed.other than that since she is pregnant switch her food to a good quality kitten food she needs more nutrients since shes becoming a mom.oh and keep her indoors until she gives birth.gl

A cats gestation era final as long as seventy one days yet frequently they are going to supply start at around 2 months, I actual have by no skill considered a muddle with greater suitable than 7 kittens yet frequently its approximately 5 kittens. Cats are very secretive approximately giving start so they are going to frequently bypass out of there thank you to cover the muddle. whilst my cat replaced into pregnant I stored her interior the domicile close to the ending of her being pregnant so she does no longer have them outdoors, I set up a dismal private section, and confirmed it to her a pair of circumstances, and to my amazement, it is the place she had them. maximum of all merely tell your chum to loosen up, despite the fact that if its her first muddle, she already knows what to do..... oooh very almost forgot, tell her to no longer touch them until they get slightly older, the mum hates it no count how close you're to her, plus she would desire to forget approximately relating to the little ones after alot of dealing with. desire this enables!

Should have spayed that cat. I would try to find a new home for this cat. There are already too many cats killed daily to be doing this.

Take her to the vet to be spayed and aborted. We don't need more unwanted kittens in the world.
