Anyone let your cats try the Addiction brand "Venison&Avocado" flavor? I'm thinking of adding it to my cat's diet for variety. But not sure if it's good.

all her muscles are twitching randomly. she's walking with her paws up. she's limping. no blinking. heavy breathing. it looks like she getting paralyzed slowly. we think she got bit very stiff body. by some type of spider or snake but see no swelling or bites. we are worried because she has babies 3 weeks old. we dont want to feed the babies because were worried it may transmit whatever she has. whether it is a disease, or a bite we are NOT going to feed the young.

I was watching TV and i saw a figure "floating" down. It looked like a feather at first,but then it went into the light of the TV and... A giant spider that was like, and inch wide and an inch long. I killed the crap out of it but i want to be on the lookout. What types of spiders around PA are known to be poisonous? Also, I was feeding my fish when I looked up at the roof and there was a spider that looked like the combination between a wasp spider and a daddy Long Legger. It had a striped yellow and black body, With legs like a daddy long legger. Again, I killed the crap out of that one too. But what stumped me was... Is it poisonous?
Please help me. I need to know what spiders are poisonous so i know what to look out for. Thanks.

Spayed, shots up to date, no known parasites. I feed her IAMS lamb and rice formula. Great dog, but she sheds constantly all year long. No amount of brushing gets it all. Vet checked and sees no apparent reason. He offfered a drug to reduce the shedding, but I don't want to give her drugs for my own comfort. Any suggestions as to what could be causing this or how to correct?

I've wanted an irish wolfhound for years, but have always assumed I'd need to wait awhile before I could adopt one because I currently have 3 small dogs. One is 10 pounds, one is 11 pounds, and one is 22 pounds. I just thought that it would be very unsafe to have such a large dog with small dogs. But, I keep hearing that IWs are great with dogs, including tiny ones, and are very gentle. I've seen pictures of them with chihuahuas and tiny yorkies, like 3-4 pounds, and supposedly without problems. I assumed reputable breeders wouldn't let IWs go to homes that have small dogs, but is this not necessarily the case? I just pictured even if the IW is not aggressive, they could inadvertently hurt a small dog in play, or by stepping on them or something! I still think I'm going to wait awhile to get one, but was just curious. Are IWs usually good with small dogs? What do you think?

my dog was sick today almost near death cause she was infected with ticks and we sprayed out back yard for them but they all hid under the dog house my puppy got all the blood drained out of her cause the ticks but we removed all of them and now she is eating and drinking water i just need to know do i give her milk?

So as I have been hearing that a blood might not be the snake for me(even though i really want one:(....) so i was wondering what would be a good snake for me. i want one that gets fairly big....bigger than a ball python,but nothing that is impossible to handle by myself, and has a deccent temperment. I got my cat when she was about 8 months old and I have had her for about 5 years. Back then I was 11 years old. All these five years the cat has been acting very much different from my neighbors cat. My neighbors cat seems to love everyone and come to everyone and sit by them and purr and whatnot. The most my cat does is come by people and rub against them. The only time she purrs is during her habit of licking the bed sheets (which probably remind her of her mother). If I or anyone in my family pick her up, it seems that she tolerates it for a couple of seconds and then struggles to get free. So is it normal that my cat doesn't like to be held by humans nor ever comes and hops into my lap or other peoples laps? Is there something I can do about it? The joke that runs in the family is that the people we bought her from (some kind of adoption fee) probably found her on the streets as she seems as wild as the feral cats. She is a short hair brown tabby.

Maximus' short life (he was only 2 years old) ended. One of the vetrinarians who tried to save Maximus described him as " a good dog up until the very end ... giving licks and kisses

There are two stray cats that come around periodically. They are both clean looking and are maybe even outdoor cats someone owns. I am not sure. With the weather being nice, I have my windows open. I haven't seen either cat in awhile, but this evening when I walked into my bedroom, the stray cat was sitting on the windowsill on the outside of my bedroom window, meowing and "talking" to my cat who was sitting on the inside windowsill. Only a screen seperated the two cats. I thought it was really cute, but I shut the window right away because I was worried my cat could catch a disease. Is this true? I heard Feline Leukemia is airborn. Now I am paranoid about leaving the windows open, for fear they may get sick. Is this a valid concern or am I being overly paranoid? My cat is behind on his vaccines, but only because she has some behaviorial problems that we are working on in order to take her in. She should be good to go to the vet this Fall. Any feedback?

My cat won't eat or drink, his temperature is low and he is dehydrated, he also has ulcers on his tongue. Any ideas?
Does anyone know what could cause this? I took him to the emergency vet today and they wanted $459 to run blood work and told me it would cost me about $1,000 for everything. I can't afford that! If someone could tell me what this might be this would be great instead of just putting him to sleep without knowing!
