all her muscles are twitching randomly. she's walking with her paws up. she's limping. no blinking. heavy breathing. it looks like she getting paralyzed slowly. we think she got bit very stiff body. by some type of spider or snake but see no swelling or bites. we are worried because she has babies 3 weeks old. we dont want to feed the babies because were worried it may transmit whatever she has. whether it is a disease, or a bite we are NOT going to feed the young.

Is she eating and drinking? Maybe check her paw to see if anything is in them, that could be why she is limping. But your best bet is to call the vet. And you should feed the babies..there is this puppy formula you can get at the pet store. But good luck hope it all is ok

This is really a serious situation - try calling a Poison Control number or a vet emergency clinic even if there is no one in close proximity. It sounds like your girl has a toxin of some sort in her body - could be snake, spider or even tick - can you go over her thoroughly looking for a bite or welt or tick. Look in & around her ears, in her arm pits and in her groin to start. Get some medical advice quick smart.
Excellent idea to keep the pups off her for now. If you do lose her, get back in touch with your vet contact - you will have to start feeding her babies. I can make suggestions having hand reared several puppies. While the dam is unavailable, try going to the closest store and getting some Heinz baby food - veggies (with NO sugar or glucose or sucrose or fructose added) and meat (again the no sugar rule).

IF... IF..... IF
this dog & it's pups have been vetted... then the vet your dog ALREADY SEES is who you need to be calling
GET OFF THE COMPUTER
GET ON THE PHONE... CALL THAT VET
and I willing to lay a bet that the vet's phone answering thing has instructions on what to do after hours
SO WHATEVER IT SAYS TO DO IN EMERGENCY..... THEN DO THAT!!!!!
Take Her & the Babies TO THE VET!!!
geeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssss
I gotta ask... does anyone who has looked at this question live in a area where your established vet won't take an after hours call in the absence of Emergency Vet Service
I mean, really now.... growing up we had a farm.. FARM>.. that should tell you LONG WAY AWAY FROM VET OFFICE OR EMERGENCY VET
We established relationships with 3 vets to ensure the ability to get afterhours help... what if one out of town & one on a call, you then need the third.....
and there were nights when we drove an animal 2 hours ONE-WAY to the Emergency Vet
Come on Man... CALL THE VET YOUR DOG ALREADY SEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call a vet, ask them. Then if they say it is urgent, like it sounds, then get her up there. If you don't know if you can afford the bill ask them if they will allow you to make it in payments. They usually will. My friend had a male dog that started acting like they, and he had some sort of health problem, I am not really sure what it was cause by. It lead to him having seizures and having to be put down because he couldn't walk any more, even with vet help and medicine. I am not trying to scare you or anything, just trying to let you know how serious the situation could be.

she needs veterinary assistance now! she could have low calcium. it can be common in nursing b*tches. she can get deathly sick fast. you need to take her to a vet no matter the problem. you don't want to be bottle feeding this litter. she is very very sick and needs to see a vet now. if your regular vet doesn't offer after hour care, call your vet's number often they will connect you or give you the number for an ER vet. she needs to be seen now!
get in your car and drive you butt and the dog's to the nearest city where these is a vet available. i don't care how long it is. find your vet at home if you live in a small town area. i'm sorry and this is going to be rude and it's late and i don't care. but if you took on the responsibility of breeding a dog and didn't have a number for a vet incase of emergency you are neglectful. if your dog dies you have no one to blame but yourself. i feel sorry for the poor mom and the pups that are about to be orphaned because you thought it would be neat to have a litter but didn't plan for an emergency. pick up the phone and keep calling until you get someone! try taking on some responsiblity. no one on here can help you. if your dog is dealthy low in calcium from the pups, yes she can and will die by tuesday that's for sure. find your local large animal vet. there has to be one in your area if you are in a rural area. they can get you the meds you need and often take late night calls. use the internet to find every vet in your area and call them.

You should take her to the vet immediately. She could possibly be having a stroke or mini strokes. Or is could be seizures or possibly a disease or bite of some kind. You should feed the babies, if you don't they will die. If they don't show any of the signs that their mother has then it is unlikely that it is something that they will get.

DUDE!!! No rocket scientist needed here. Take her to the Emergency Vet Clinic. Go to the store in the pet aisle and grab some puppy formula. Dont allow them to nurse incase she got bit by something or who knows what else. Good luck.

It could be eclampsia,or low blood calcium. The symptoms all point to it.It is an emergency, and your dog will die if she isn't treated with intravenous calcium. In the meantime,if you have any calcium in the house ( Tums, calcium supplements, etc.)break several of them into pieces and put them down her throat. If she can drink, give her some milk. This may save her,but you HAVE to get her to a vet right away! Hurry! She probably has a high fever as well.Cool her down by putting cold, damp cloths on her head ,neck, and stomach and get that calcium into her fast!

It sounds like her calcium is low to me. Same thing happened to my dog twelve years ago. She had to have a shot. YOu need to get your dog to the vet NOW though....it could be something else wrong with her.
Get some milk substitute for the pups....you can find it at your local feed/pet store.
