Don't give her milk or calcium supplements. If you are worried about her being run down give her plenty of raw meaty bones and offal. She will be able to digest these natural vitamins and minerals better than any artificial supplement.
Yorkies can still crunch through chicken necks and wings. She needs red meat for the iron content too.

If it doesn't give her diarrhea, milk is a perfectly fine treat or supplement for a dog.My mother had a Chihuahua who drank milk every day of his life, and lived to be 19 years old,and all of my dogs have drunk milk, with no side effects. But,to answer your question about the ticks,is your puppy pale, that is ,are her gums white? If so,you need to take her to a vet asap.In the meantime, meat will help her with any anemia.Give her some raw liver ( not a lot, just a half cup or so) and some ground beef to bring her blood count up.If she's really anemic, though, she might need a blood transfusion,or a shot of B vitamins. You need to get some Frontline Plus to keep the ticks away and kill them. Move the doghouse and scrub it out with hot water and bleach and rinse it well.If it is a wooden house, sit it in the sun to dry, then spray the area with tick spray. When the house is dry,put cedar shavings in it;this will help to repel any other ticks and fleas. But you really could avoid this by keeping the puppy indoors. You really should take her to a vet.

No, milk will probably give her diarrhea which will make her even more dehydrated and sick. It is important to take her to a vet asap to get her checked out to be sure she didn't catch Lyme disease or another illness carried by parasites. How did the tick get so out of control? Do you keep her outside a lot? If loss of blood is why she is sick I don't think that affects her bones much.
I'm sorry to hear about your pup. GOOD LUCK TO YOU

No!!! Most dogs and cats are lactose intolerant. And your dog had to have been out there quite awhile to be drained my dear. So obviously no one checked on him for who knows how long. Maybe if we spent just a little more time with the dog and rubbing her like dogs are supposed to be, you probebly would have noticed a tick several months ago. Not now when she is completely infested. So damn SAD!!!

No, milk contains lactose which requires lactase to break it down. Dogs do not contain enough lactase to fully breakdown the lactose and consuming milk can cause your dog to get diarrhea and stomach upset which can lead to dehydration.

NO...
milk is not good for dogs or cats, esp. cows milk.
most dogs have no tolerance for dairy milk.
just give her puppy food, and lots of water.
if you need to supplement, see the vet and get something that is for dogs, not humans. I say this, because a lot of people assume if it's good for them, it should be good for the dog.. not so.
and be sure to take her to the vet, because it sounds like she needs it.
get her on some frontline, for puppies, and be sure to treat the rest of your dogs, too.
good luck

No, it will give her diarrhea and cause her to become dehydrated if she is already weak.. Good quality dog food is a better idea, w/ lots of fresh clean water.

NO!! Milk will give her diarrhea and further dehydrate her. Take her to the vet. She may need antibiotics and she may be at risk for viral illnesses as well.
