i had a female and male in a tank with a divider and one night she dropped all of her eggs, i was kinda mad because i was planing to breed them. so to answer your question; yes.
when she is ready to breed she will have this small white tube (looks more like a dot) where her poop comes out and she will be very fat. hope this helps!

bettas does not have babies unless it's eggs are fertilize.

u shouldnt put 2 or more bettas together, unless all of them are females or u have a male and a female that are ready to mate. if the couple arent ready to mate, the 2 of them might fight. u can notice males are ready to mate when they create bubbles at the top of the tank, as for females, im not very sure.

as far as i know, not many fishes can have babies without a male. non-virgin female guppies can keep some "sperm" inside their body and fertilize the eggs later, that's why some ppl think that guppies can change sex or have fry without being fertilized.

yes she most likely will
some females actually even build bubble nests

But if she does that, and you don't plan on breeding, you need to remove the eggs right away, otherwise they will grow fungus on them and poison your tankwater

If you're planning on breeding, read the following

Hope that helps
Good luck
