they do need a basking spot and a heating lamp. so make sure you get both of those asap.
turtles should have about 1/3 water 2/3 land or half and half.
yea... pretty much all aquatic turtles are green in color (cept the snappers) you probably have a red eared slider, which are commonly sold in petstores. or a painted turtle...
next time do some research about the animal you plan on getting. dont worry it'll still be there after you do some research. or you could have the store reserve the pets you plan on getting...

Exactly, depending on the type of turtle, land in as important as water. They need an area to get heat or bask as was previously mentioned because they are cold blooded.
It is important that you have adequate space, filtration, and heating for him. I would really try to find out what species he is so that you can take care of all his needs.

some turtles like swimming so water is ok,, but you should put a log or some sort of rock so the turtle can rest on top of it.

I in simple terms offered one too. 2 months previous. Sooooo lovable. Mine eats minced carrot, lettuce yet his regularly occurring is pellets. Mine additionally didn't wish to consume as quickly as I threw the pellets interior the aquarium. i don't understand why. possibly the eyesight not too sturdy simply by fact that's nonetheless a toddler... or he's in simple terms manja ;) So I held one pellet with my hands and placed it above him. He bit it from my hand. the shop fed him like that so i concept i attempted it and it worked. you're able to wreck the pellet so as that that's smaller/shorter... much less confusing for "toddler" to consume.don't fret the chew won't injury you. besides, you're able to enable yours get some organic solar yet not rapidly decrease than the sizzling warm solar. that's sturdy for her incredibly her shell. that's what the shopkeepers instructed me. in case you want to maintain her indoors all of the time (no solar) you could desire to purchase a definite gentle. Ask the shop. they are going to inform you greater. once you alter the water confirm you depart a number of the previous water interior and combine with the recent water coz the recent water from the faucet could have too sturdy chlorine for the turtle. that's what the shopkeeper instructed me additionally. there's a definite liquid in a bottle which you're able to purchase in case you want to make valuable she's loose from chlorine. i did not purchase it. One tiny weenie bottle expenditures S$35 ! Gila ! i could purchase 7 turtles with that funds. possibly you will discover greater inexpensive ones yet i desperate to do without it. My turtle is okay without it. I depart mine at my balcony. So he's growing to be fortunately... and so handsome. His call is Fradin. possibly sometime our turtles can get married and we can be in-regulations ;))
