Its a baby and it doesent bite, My Uncle and my dad say rats are bad and my uncle gave me a bag of rat poison. How do I tell them thats aren't mean and ugly if you raise them right?

Okay, I Went to a Aquamerine place today & Its Huge. It sells all Fish Stuff They have Sharks & All kinds of Stuff, So i was looking around, & i Saw a Turtle. There so Cute! I Want to buy one But i called the place & Told me about everything requied to buy them &said the ones they sell Can Grow as big as a 1Ft Tile! So i need to know the smallest Turtles (Water or Box)out there & How big they Get i Think its Musk. But not Sure. Thank you so Much!

There is a stray cat that has been living under our deck and in our neighbor's yard for almost a year now. Occasionally it will try and get into our house. Last night it ripped through our screen window and attempted to get into our bedroom!!! HELP! what home remedies can i use to get it to STAY AWAY!!

Ive posted on here b4 and got some good answers do thought id come back with some more!
ok firstly my chihuahua is 7 and a half weeks (i know she let him go bit early)
he is already going to the toilet on paper no problems but at night he wakes up and cries to let himout to go (usualluy around 2.30 and then 7.00)but then when he goes b/c hes out hes awake than so ive had to wear himout b4 we can go bk to bed!!!
Is there anyway to get him to go in the crate at night as getting up at 2.30 am every mrning is a bit extreme!!
Also the lastfew days he has been mad!!i worry he will hurt himself as he abs tears round!!!ive tried holding him,shouting but nothing seems to stophimwhen hes on one!!!
any help appreciated!

can i put normal house vines in with my red ear sliders and yellow bellies and them not get sick? i understand that they love to eat vegetation and i dont want them to eat something poisonous. does anyone have any information about this? just normal vines i was going to plant them in there and let them grow out of it... anyone tried this before?

My boyfriend recently bought me a 1 gallon tank. I thought it was generally a big tank for a gold fish, so i went to the pet store to look around. I saw that neon tetras were small and generally swim in groups. I thought it would be a cool idea to get like 5 or so tetras. But now im told that a 1 gallon tank should have only 1 fish. Does anyone know a type of fish that i can get more than 1 to put in my 1 gallon tank?

my gecko has shed skin that is stuck a little bit on his eye and also around the rim of his eye. he licks his eye but it doesnt seem to get off, and its too close to his eye for me to help him. i don't know how to get it off without injuring him, and i don't want to leave it because im scared it might eventually hurt him or cause infection. if you could help, that'd be great! thanks =)

My boyfriend bought a really thick and heavy collar for his dog claiming it will "make her stronger." I think it's a terrible thing to do... is there a max amount of weight that a dog's collar can be? I think thisw falls very closely with animal cruelty, but I am not sure.

I have a brand new kitten and he LOVES to bite! He even charges at me and my daughter, anyone even. We've tried squirting him with a water bottle, but it seems like nothing helps. Any suggestions??

Me and my family have been around and have had German Shepards for a while now but on one dog my dad(a retired dog trainer) has taught the dog the usual "sit, lay, beg,roll over, heel..and so on" in German. Is there any way that I'll be able to reteach the dog to understand the words in English by any chance? Thank you and all answers greatly appreciated.

I've had my white clouds for almost a week, and for some reason, they will only stay in the top inch of the tank (never going any lower), and I don't understand why. What could possibly be going on?

All the random stats I can think of about the tank:

It's a 2.5 gallon tank with 3 white clouds, a betta, and a snail. I realize that is a bit of an overload, but it's only temporary until I can get them to college next week. Tank has no filtration (not allowed where I'm going to college), but I change 75% of the water every two days. Water pH is around 7.4. Temperature about 75 degrees F. Ammonia level has never gone above .25 ppm.

I've never seen the betta harass the white clouds (I watched them for an hour straight when I first got them to make sure they'd get along), but I've also never seen them leave the top inch. The betta is the only thing I can think of though.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I have 2 yellow bellied slider turtles and recently i've caught one of them attempting to eat the stones at the bottom of the tank, does anyone know of a better thing to put at the bottom of the tank until they're pond in the conservatory is ready! I love them so much and couldn't bear to lose them.

We have just got a 2 year old female cat from the Cat Resuce Centre who had been abandoned, she stays under my daughter's bed all day and doesnt come out till it's dark, she is very nervous and shy - anybody any suggestions as to how we can turn her sleeping pattern around so she is sleeping when we are.

My friend's cat's tail got jammed with the garage door. They took her to the hospital and they said everything was ok and they just gave her stiches. they told my friend to go back in 10 days to see if the tail was better. 30 minutes after getting home the cat died in my friend's arms!! Y did the cat died when the veterenians told her the cat was perfectly fine. she has been very affected by this can she sue them for not taking care of her properly? she really loved this cat please help.
