I have 4 tetras, 1 female and the rest male, and the female keeps close to the ground in a corner while the rest are swimming around. she only comes up to get food or waits till the food sinks under the filter.

I have a 20 gallon long, good air pump, power filter, thermometer-set at 78-80. I have medium sized aquarium gravel and 2 caves. 9-10 inch tall plants. I originally wanted convicts, hence the caves. But I dont want them to mess up my plants/ rock setup. I would like some type of cichlids, lol very general, but not angels. If I cant have cichlids I could settle for some common community tropicals. Thanks!

stop chewing/eating the mulch? I am afraid it's going to hurt her digestive system. It isn't the same as trying to chew on stuff on the inside of the house because I can distract her with something else. When she is going for the mulch, nothing distracts her, she has a one track mind for it. We can yell, say no, call her name, throw a different toy, all fruitless. Any suggestions?

He had an agressive tumour in his throat, today I had to take him to my vet to be put to sleep and he died in my arms.
I can't stop crying, my poor kids are scared!
He was such a good friend, he slept on our bed with us, I miss him so much. Sorry it's not a question.

yesterday i took my dog for a walk and she ran down a hill. last week when she ran down the same hill she landed wrong when she reached the bottom, but she was fine. When she did that yesterday she didn't even want to go for a walk anymore she just went back towards the house and stood there til I came to let her back in. that's when i noticed she was walikng with just three legs never letting her right back leg touch the ground. she walks don't step with her right legs in the air but never when she was on a flat surface. even though she not crying or showing signs that it hurt i still very worried. I planning to go to the vet as soon as possible but just cant right now. please give me some insight on what might be the problem please. thank you

She is a sweety when we're home, but if we leave her out of her kennel, she goes on a tear. She chews up anything left within reach. We give her plenty of exercise and she has lots of toys.
She is 1/2 Lab, 1/2 Dalmatian.
Are there any training techniques we can use to help prevent any further damage?
I am aware that she is safer in her kennel, but I feel she should be able to have free range like so many other dogs that we have close contact with.

any training suggestions out there?

I studded my male Chi to someone female. She was here for a week and was a doll. Here's the story. She went into labor and had her puppies. She got aggressive with them so her owner took her to the vet to find out that she had a very rare type of infection. She was in intensive care for 48 hours and recovered quickly. She was still aggressive with her babies and did not want to nurse them so they had to be bottlefed. They were still put with her to nurse while supervised. Seven weeks later, she want nothing to do with the puppies. This is the email I got from the owner:
She is passive with the kids but seems depressed or jealous when the pups get attention. Her whole world seems upset since the puppies came. She steals their food, hates to nurse, still growls, won’t “go” outside she holds it as long as possible even if I walk her for an hour- only to go upon reentering the house! I am at my wits end.Is she potentialy dangerous? Will she go back to her normal self when the pups leave?

Is 'First Bites' fry food too big for guppies? It's little particles of food and it says on the package: "for all fish" I told the guy at the petstore that I needed food for baby guppies, and he gave me that! Is it good for guppies? Here's a link showning what I feed them:

http://www.hikariusa.com/first_bites.htm

Read this page and it will tell you how small the particles are. Someone please help!!!

Haha oh well. As long as there isn't cat poop everywhere and the house doesn't stink. I'm good!

PS> This is the best invention EVER!!! I've had it for almost a year and I love it! No stink!
