The extra fish has really put a strain on your filter and water change routine. It's also probable that the tank is getting too much fish to handle as Pacu get so very huge and Oscars are not known as small fish themselves.

Adding a second filter to the tank would be a good idea, but also increaseing the size and frequancy of your water changes will be important. I would suggest you change 30-40% of the tank once a week.

properly, Oscars are enormously laid back, from the countless hundred ive been around ( additionally very own a breeding pair) so the main appropriate element does no longer be agression, it may be tank area. You;'ll have some definate problems with those convicts beating each thing while they start breeding (and believe me they'll lol) The %. despite the fact that is gonna get like 3 feet and 40+ kilos person-friendly. they are extremely unfavorable too. My 2 footer has broken manny issues, such as some warmers and a tank. %. ARE suitible for inner maximum aquariums, only no longer ninety 9% of them.
