I have a corn snake, I've had him for about a year. I have experience with snakes but I don't know whats going on right now. The snake is about a year old (he was a couple months old when I got him). He is about 2.5 ft.
Yesterday I changed his cage because the one he was in was starting to get to small so I bought him a bigger one. All of yesterday he was normal and he was enjoying the new cage. A couple of hours ago I went to check up on him and when I walked into the room he sprung up and tightened when I walked closer he tried to attack me! I didnt know what he was doing... I put my hand on the glass of the cage and he attacked me again!!! He kept doing that all the time. Then later I checked on him again but then he was really calm, kind of. If I looked close at him he just moved his head up and down really quick a couple of times, then he went back to what looked like sleeping.

ok heres wuts up my dog (mia) is in heat so we really really want puppies so we got a boy dog from the women that gave me my dog and the boy is 8 months old. He got on her a few times, but i guess gave up..WHY won't he hump her? Excuse my french..Please answer fast!What do I have to do to make him want her, she is actually getting anxious. She has gotten aggressive with him. HELP! I want puppies..LOOK!! i dont want a business or want to hurt a puppy..PUPPIES FOR CRYIN OUT FREAKIN LOUD i want puppies to take care of i luv having lil pups running around the house so does the rest of my family and we have no time FYI cause if we dont bread her now we will have to wait till her next period wut sence does that make when shes in heat now this isnt her first time in heat..when we took MIA to the women to meet the male dog she will mate with..he was ready 2 get it goin he was tryin infront of us but mia was givin it a hard time but now its the other way around and i need him to get it on again

I just discovered that I adopted snails with my plant and a young lady suggested that black are bad and gold are good. She said that the gold ones are the mysterious snails, but I thought the mysterious snails were dark in color. I would like a few more opinions or facts about this statement. It turns out that the snails I adopted are black. should I get rid of them and if so would it be okay to take them to a lake?

i just applied flea medication to my kitty a few hours ago ..and there are still some fleas although im sure of it that theyre being killed as we speak i just wanna be sure if i could sleep with him on the same bed ...if that would mess up the medication or something if im rubbing against his coat to much or if its just bad to sleep with him if he still has fleas .....?

Ok so,we may be getting a German Shepherd puppy,either this month or October.I wanna know these things.
1.Are they loyal and fast learners?
2.Are they expensive? Like in a overall price,how much are they?
3.Do they eat alot? (I know it's a stupid question but whatever.)

We have a 9-month-old puppy and we think he has Kennel Cough. We are not completely sure how he may have come in contact with it but he fits all the symptoms. The list of symptoms he has shown (yesterday and today) are: constant sneezing, coughing, gagging, retching (trying to vomit) and a small amount of foam expelled after coughing. These seem to come in spells that only last a few seconds (except for the sneezing which is through out the day). Once the spell is over he goes back to normal activity. He is still eating, drinking and playing as usual. He does seem to be sleeping more then he normally does though.
We are going to call our vet in the morning and see what their opinion is but we are wondering what the treatment will be.
So, if anyone has ever had a puppy or adult dog that was diagnosed with Kennel Cough, could you please detail what the treatment was? I am just curious what he will be in for when we visit the vet's office.

I have a 55 gallon reef tank that is 3 months old.I still have no nitrites nor nitrates. I have about 30LBS of live rock,a 2 1/2" sand bed,fluval 303 filter,water heater, protein skimmer, powerhead 402 for extra water flow, 25 nerite snails, 1 tomatoe clown, 3 different types of damsels and 8 anemones that grew from the rock. Fish are fine everything living is fine. even the green macroalgae that is taking over my tank.what am i doing wrong. my salinity is at 1.024. i have 290 watts of lighting.

I am trying to avoid having my brother in law come over once a day to feed my fish while on vacation. But what are my options? I have read that you can let your fish go for a few days without food, but I really don't feel comfortable with that. Also read about the vacation feeders, do they work? Will they mess up my levels in the aquarium? I have a well established & planted 10 gallon aquarium with 5 guppies, 2 Otocinclus cats, and 1 balloon molly. I can't afford to buy one of the timed feeders. We only take like 1 vacation a year so it would not be that great of an investment. Any suggestions?

They are both 3 weeks old and playful. One is a boy and the other is a girl.

She is all black except a little bit of white on her chest and a little white on all of her feet. She is also VERY fluffy and VERY small. Right now she has light blue eyes.

He is mainly gray with a good amount of white on his tummy and a good amount of white on all of his paws. His fur is short and he is a normal size. His eyes are also a light blue.

i have a relatively small tank, rocks in bottom, with a middle divider to keep 2 male bettas. there's a removeable blue divider that leaves a clear divider for the bettas to see each other and promote flaring. So beautiful!!! there's no filter.. how do they keep breathing like that?!? dont they need really fresh water to get the oxygen?.... basically how often do i change unfiltered water in a betta tank big enough for 2 bettas?? thank u so much for your help... i'd hate to break my little girls heart by not changing it often enough, yet praying it's not daily!!!

i have a kitten whos 8 weeks old and ..hes had his first shots and has been wormed. Today however i saw a little bug crawling up his tummy ...i immdiately started looking for more and realized that they were fleas ..within 20 min i went to the pet store picked up advantage for kitty's and applied it to my kitty although im not really sure if i did it right ...the spot where i treated him looks all wet ..and im also not sure i got the actual skin since he was moving alot .

i waited for about 2 hours and checked back but i still saw the fleas crawling on him what do i do? ..should i wait longer? or is advantage not good? or do i need to reapply and make sure its on the skin? my kitty to get tapeworms or skin infections :/ or also my house infested with fleas !!

nitrite level at 0ppm
ammonia level at 0.10ppm
and Ph level at 8.3

is this normal for a 3 week old tank and how much lobger should it tank

by the way the nitrite and nitrate levels have already spiked and gone back down

I went a couple of days without feeding him, then put in some commercial turtle food. Nothing. He ignores it. I'd even soaked it in tuna fish juice. I tried the frozen turtle food, nothing. He was doing nothing but searching on the aquarium floor for something else...so I gave him 3 worms which he ate instantly. He needs nutrients I know. But I feel like he would rather starve than eat food he would rather not. Should I try guppies next? HELP!
