can you tell the sex of an iguana when they are juveniles because i seen juveniles with really broad square faces and others with more stream line faces are the broader ones males and the other females

At 6 months old it is fairly easy. The males will have large femoral pores inside their hind legs and the females will be very small. It's hard to tell just by looking--I've seen plenty of females that were large and colorful and you'd swear they were males! Heres good pix of adults:

To truely sex a Juvenile you have to have them probed by a Vet or a Reptile Specialist.

Yep. If the flap infront of there jaw is quite large, it's a male. Females are smaller.

I had to go to the vet and they told me I think thats your best bet
