im having a sweet 16 in september and i've been trying to come up with a good centerpiece idea for a beachy/nautical theme. today my moms friend said i could do something with live fish. does anyone have any experience or ideas about this?

There was a gentelman that found a dog wondering the country. The dog was very skinny and very uncared for so he picked up the dog to see if anyone would want to take care of it. My wife and myself have breed dogs and have rescued many others so we took her in. We took the dog to the vet for a check up and shots. We asked the vet what type of dog she thought she was and she quickly replied "Harlequin great dane and if not full blooded she has that breed in her."

She said she thought her to be about 5 months old and 25 pounds. She said she would weigh more had she not been so skinny from being neglected. She has very long legs, big paws and a long body and of course she is the black and white spotted coat.

My question is her color also looks like many other animals...pointer, dalmation...etc. Outside of waiting to watch her grow is there a way of being sure that she is a Harlequin great dane?

Isidore is 13 weeks now and is still kneading me. I've heard they do this to their mothers for milk but Izzy hasn't been near a momma cat for 2 months! (don't start, long story) Is this normal?

My dog got spayed today and when I first picked her up she was sort of fine just seemed a bit sore. Now as the afternoon has come on she is acting worse. She is shaking and very anxious acting. The vet gave me Novox for pain and I have read on here that is for Osteoarthritis in dogs. I have Phenergan tabs at home and was wondering if I could give her 1/4 of those. She seems nauseated somewhat. She wont eat or drink!

otics, which I have been giving in his water, I think he is probably a little better but the problem is that he is so very weak that Im worried he will die if he dosnt eat...I need to know how to get food into him, can someone tell me how to go about this as Im very scared of hurting him & bless him he has enough problems...

I currently have 4 fish; 2 cherry barbs and 2 corydoras catfish. I have a ten gallon, heated tank. I would like to purchase a PAIR of fish but I want SOMETHING TOTALY DIFFERENT than most people want to purchase. I want something easy to take care of and easily pleased.

Could you please leave some information about the fish (compatibility, tank size and etc.) so I know how to take care of it? Thank you....I just want something easy and different!

Well, my rabbit has been leaving skid marks on the floor, and his poop is solid but, he seems very active in pooping lots- he even doesn't go in his litterbox sometimes when he poops 1 or 2 droppings.

But, what i'm worried about, is he constantly leaves skid marks on the floor- and he seems a tiny bit withdrawn.

What can I do, and/or what is causing this?

3 serpae tetra
2 bolivian rams

Guy at petstore tell me that serpae will destroy an angelfishes fins. My serpae dont bother the other rams at all, they seem peaceful is he right? should i get angels anyway?
if not what other fish do you suggest?

I brought 2 oto Catfish. And 1 of them just disappears I was wondering Can corydorys, Female Betta, Neon tetra, phantom tetras, seprae tetra, platies, or african dwarf frogs eat Oto catfish. I have Look for it thur out the hole tank for the last 3 days. It's no where to be found. The other 1 is doing great and looks and seems very happy

We recently got my five year old a kitten. She has been wanting one since she was 1 and we told her that by the time she goes into kindergarten if she still wants one and is able to help take care of it we would get her one. Well, she is going into kindergarten in August and we finally got her a kitten a couple of weeks ago. ANYWAYS my question is

My daughter wants to sleep with the kitten on her bed but I worry the kitten will sit on her face while my daughters sleeping and smother her. I hear about cats smothering children a lot.

I have a pregnant Boxer, and she's about 25 days into it. I have bred boxers before, but they always had their shots before they ever went into heat. This time, however, my dog's shots are due two days from now, and I'm not sure what will hurt her and what won't. I called the vet, and they said that a rabies shot won't do anything to cause problems for her or the litter, but the other shots might. They said that the vet should be able to tell she's pregnant, however, and they won't give her the vaccinations that could be harmful. I feel that I need a second opinion on what shots aren't good for a pregnant dog, just so I have info to go into the vet with in case they do something stupid, because there are vets out that just don;t care, and I've unfortunately encountered a few of them.
So, if someone with a good background in breeding could give me some advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

my rott puppie died of parvo..And I want a new puppie..I was wanting to know how long to wait.. We have bleached the yard and my husband is going to do it again sunday..We are going to clean our carpets saturday and put bleach in with the cleaner to make me feel better.....Dont care what it does to the carpet....and have done a lot of clean already to the house...I just need to know how long do I have to wait for a new rott puppie???
