Me and my parents might be getting a dog soon. I would like to adopt a dog but we are also looking into buying one. I need a breed thats good with small animals and cats. And that has a good activity level. My dad suggested a norwegian(sp) elkhound. But I'm not sure.

I have a 55 gal tank and my mollies are reproducing like crazy and they are starting to get ick and I am wanting to know if I possibly have too much in the tank. I've tried ick medicine for 1 week and although it looks better on some fish, it is NOT completely cured. I have changed the water level last week and I will change it again tomorrow. and if I do have too many fish could I possibly sell the ones I have now??? Any suggestions?

One of my neon tetras is very restless, swimming with head tilted downward, tail up. It is still energetic, still wants to eat and still wants to play with the others. Is this a swim bladder issue? I've taken it out of the tank and put it in a secluded space. Any ideas?

My 8 week old kitten had a prolapsed rectum, 3 days ago the vet put it back, and stitched him, to hold it in place, but still allow him to pass stool.
But it's been 3 days and he hasn't had a bowel movement.

Is that common?
Or is there something else wrong?

He's staying at the vets.

And he IS eating.

Hey. My dog smells really bad. Whenever I touch him my hands smell really bad. We just gave him a long bath and the smell returned. I have no idea what to do but I would like to touch my dog without getting an awful smell all over me. He is a Basset Hound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

will it hurt my sand bed if i have to move some to put in some fake decorations in my saltwater fish tank?

also, will it hurt it if i wash them with hot tapp water before i put them in?, should i let them dry off first, or can i just put the decor in?

He walks and pees and its more runny if thats possible. No matter whats going on. And its a large amount of pee.

I have a 10 month old pitt bull he's been vomiting but i haven't noticed any bloody diarhhea...i took him to the vet today and they said it's a possibility... he's drinking plenty of water but still not eating.

I feed my cockatiel the Zupreem bird food because I've heard it's the best. Well, one of my cockatiels eat's it but he picks out all the yellow bananas - he hates them!!

Is it correct that they can see in color?? Maybe he just hates bananas??

do your cockatiels do this??

My dog Buffy stares at me all the time, I can't help but wonder if she needs something more or if it is naturaul for such a small dog to get attachted to ONE person but be OK with any other dog that isn't 5 times as big as she is.Is it normall for her to be obbsesed with me to the point where when I leave and come back she just wants to be with me and when I'm gone too long she looks for me?I'm scared for her safety.I want to make sure she's ok and isn't scared that something bad will happen!Please get back to me if you know the answer!
