I feed my cockatiel the Zupreem bird food because I've heard it's the best. Well, one of my cockatiels eat's it but he picks out all the yellow bananas - he hates them!!

Is it correct that they can see in color?? Maybe he just hates bananas??

yes, birds can differentiate between colors. Zupreem is a great pellet, Great Choice! Birds can be picky. If you can try to find a different variety of Zupreem without the bananas, like the natural or the wild n spicy. changing up the flavors will also keep him interested.

Don't forget fresh fruits and vegi's every day! :)

Zupreem if very good. My cockatiels also won't eat the bananas! lol. I feed mine the parakeet size instead--they seem to like the smaller kibble and they don't pick out the colors.

Unlike dogs, birds can see in color, yes.

More than likely it's the size of the banana pieces he or she doesn't like. I've purchased that particular bag of Zupreem food you're talking about and my birds tend to ignore the yellow bananas too. They like food that can fit in their beaks and be easily broken down when crunched, like the red and green pieces in the mix.

If you want to, one thing you can try doing is grinding down the yellow bananas to smaller chunks. Then it'll probably go as fast as the rest of it.

Zupreem Diets are spectacular all 8 of my birds devour the conure length because of the fact I have2 conures and a pair of caiques a million gray 2 amazons and1Rose Breasted Cockatoo. so I supply each and every of the toddlers the parakeet length as toddlers until they get Abit larger i got here across that blending KATEE weaning and conversion pellets with the Zupreem foodstuff plan constantly labored changing any birds foodstuff plan could properly be no longer straight forward and seeds are to settle for as A manage or never so changing one pellet to a distinctive is very discouraging yet do no longer supply up.
