I have two goldfish in a large tank and the water is cloudy again. I don't think we added enough in the begining and I want the water clear again. I want to add it with out taking the fish out but will the initial pouring in the substance be too much for them and kill them?

This is a feral kitten that I rescued......it has developed a boil of some sort below it's ear. What the heck is it? Could it be a tick. I also read it can be some kind of larvae?

I thought my one 10-15 Gallon filter was broken so I bought another one. I am not able to return it, so would it benefit the tank to keep both of the filters running in there? Like keep it cleaner and require less water changes?

Thanks a lot, I appreciate any help.

We adopted Keegan from a cat rescue organization 2.5 months ago. He had been owned at one time but put out when his owner moved, I don't know how long he was on his own, but he was with other cats. He is a great cat, seems happy, loves the kittens we got after him, doesn't beg to go outside, just seems like he tolerates us. He will purr & let you pet him in the morning when he hears you get up, but thats it, the rest of the day he "tolerates" us. Am I expecting too much from him too quickly? Will he ever like us?

Why some inside Gold fish are OK with tiny vase and water without pump or filter? Anyway, can I just throw some kind of fish in my urn / planter pot and will be OK?

Ok, I might be able to get a small dog, but I was wondering if anyone had any breed suggestions?
I have 5 cats and 2 beagles (they love other dogs), so I need a dog who would be okay with them.
I also have a 4 year old sister, not that shes rough or anything, but I dont want the dog to be nervous around her.
Also, I have a field, so the dog would be able to get alot of excercise, etc.

My cat spent over 5 years with me, in the last year I moved to 3 different location with my cat, in that last location my cat went out after may be 1 week and never came back. Now more than 3 months had passed and I did not find him any where; some people says that male cat leave there place when they get older; does any one experienced that?

We have put them in the litter box and have made them scratch their paws around in it so they understand that's where the "potty" is. But they just eat it. Which I don't understand. They have been eating their kitten food also.

Now, I am desprate. They both have urinated on my new king size down quit ($100). And it's dry clean only.

I called the place where we got them and ask if they were litter trained, she said that they were.

Am I doing something wrong? Of what do I need to do to help them? Did this gal let them go too early? If so, would it be rude to ask her to pay for my dry cleaning bill?

I'm picking up my new kitty in about a week, and I'm having a lot of trouble thinking of a name for him. My husband is no help. The best one he's come up with is 'kitty'. Can you help me name this little guy? He's got interesting markings on him. Take a look at him and let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I am planning on using urn / planter pot as a above ground pond. Then decorate it with Bamboo water fall kit with a pomp which will generate an oxygen. I am also planning on putting water plants in the pot. Then finally a Koi (small 5" ones). Okey, what else do I need to keep the Koi healthy and going ? The care, any tip would greatly appreciate it.

I have four different kinds of food that I have tried to give her but she won't touch any of them. The only time that she has eaten anything is when my husband gave her a hamburger. We really don't want to encourage her to eat people food because we have kids and we don't want her taking food from them. We have had her three days now. She was a stray from what the shelter knew but she is well behaved and trained to do tricks. She is a young adult. I don't know her exact age. I plan to take her to the vet asap but don't know what to do to get her to eat in the mean time. Any help would be great.

Can a fish be saved from this condition and is there a name for it?? Is this just stress? I have a 220 gallon aquarium that has been up and running for months. I have other cichlids, however it did not seem to be extensively bothered by the previous fish in the tank. I do not have access to another tank to try to cure him and I dont think buying medicine to treat that much water is practical but I did wonder if this fish might be saved??

i read alot of the bottles of food i buy or the frozen food packages or even the live food. Most of them say feed what your fish will eat withen 3 to five minutes and suck ou t the rest. They also say feed 2 to 3 times daily. Is this too much food m fish eat it and im careful not to eover feed or at least what i think would be over feeding. I've also read that feeding your fish too much can make them fat and deformed. I also want to know is it a good idea to let your fish fast at least for one day a week. I know they wont die without food for one day or at least i think i know um yeah thanks

I know that, usually, when a cat waves or swishes its tail, that means it is angry or annoyed. However, my cat waves and swishes her tail all of the time...even when she is showing that she is content and happy. I've actually never seen her hold it still. Is there any other reason a cat would wave its tail?

I have a cat, Kimba, and we have a litter box. It has a puppy pad in the box with litter on top of it. After Kimba poops, she cleans it up by digging in the litter, but sometimes she diggs the pad and folds it over the poop. When she has to poop again, Kimba goes to the litter box, sniffs, walks away, and poops on the flooor. Is it because Kimba can't see the litter and can't clean it up?

I have a juvenile leopard gecko that I got in March. I was watching him the other day, and noticed that both his left legs were twitching, rather strongly, for no apparent reason. He's fed regularly, his tank is the right size, and is properly heated. He wasn't shedding, and there was nothing near him that was bothering him. Is this something I should worry about, or is it just one of those fluke things? I don't want to seem paranoid, but I don't want to ignore something that is a sign that there is a bigger issue...
