so i got this new fish yesterday and it doesn't eat its food! but one day i was sitting by its bowl eating a taco and dropped some taco sauce in there and my fish ate it! but i don't know if its healthy for my fish. but not eating is aslo unhealthy so wut should i do? feed it taco sauce or let it starve? or do ya'll have any suggestions?

It's not uncommon for a fish to need time to adjust to a new type of food - usually 5 days or so. I'd probably keep trying to feed it whatever it is you are feeding it depending on how you answer the following two questions.
Pray tell - what type of fish is it? What are you currently feeding it?

The taco sauce is not good for the fish and the oils in it are not good for your tank. Are you trying to feed the fish a food that is appropriate for it? Not all fish eat the same food. Do some research online to see exactly what type of food the breed of fish you have should be eating.

You shouldn't feed your fish taco sauce, it's not at all healthy for the fish. It will not starve in just a few days, in fact it's totally normal for a fish to not eat normally for the first few days it's in a new tank. Just give it normal fish foods and it will start to eat as soon as it's settled in.

taco sauce isn't healthy for any type of animal, especially a fish. if it shows strange behavior since this incident, take it to a vet.
how do you know the fish doesn't eat it's food? just because it's not hungry the very second you're sitting there doesn't mean it's not eating.

Taco sauce is realy unhealthy for a fish,so go to a vet or give it real fish food but another brand.

I don't think that fish are supposed to eat taco sauce.Have you tryed giving it different types of fish food? What type of fish is it?

well maybe you should try a different kind of food for your fish, if its a certain kind of fish like a beta fish there is certain types of food you should bye..dont feed it taco sauce.

you got a new fish? well I would say that i fine... I meen my fish eats turtle food. that is when I feed her (which isn't very often) so I wouldn't worry about it!!
