My dogs paws are really rough, how do I get them to be smooth? He's an inside/outside dog. Any Suggestions?

that they thought nothing of throwing out in the rain for hours at a time with NO shelter. And they NEVER give the poor thing a bath! She stinks SOOOO bad it's pathetic! They said they wanted to get rid of her, and my husband found her a WONDERFUL home just down the street. The people were THRILLED to have her, and the owner was glad to get rid of her. The NEW owner put her in OUR yard for ONE day so he could build her a dog house and put a fence up. THEN, the ORIGINAL owner came and took the dog from our yard claiming it was running loose (WHICH IT WASN'T)! And she says she has decided NOW to keep the dog.
WE WERE LIVID!! Am I right in being so mad, or should I just forget about it?

i have like no money for the vet but a little worried about my cat. after eating he sometimes throws up. he has gotton skinny. is this common? just a passing phase? i hope so coz i cant afford the vet. what do you think?

We want a small one (small enough to fit in the doggy strollers), but one that is protective. One that does not bark unless there is trouble. Either short haired or one that looks good when you groom it to have short hair. Thank you for your help!

I have a 4 year old dutch rabbit and I will be moving in with my sister this summer. She just got a beagle puppy. I stayed with my sister over the holidays and brought my rabbit with me. We had to keep the two of them separated because she was running around my rabbit's pen, getting too excited and rowdy. I'm not sure if my rabbit was scared or just annoyed...she charged the puppy a few times but did not try to bite.

I'm just wondering how this is going to work out when I move in with her. Should I keep them separate until the puppy is grown up and more calm, or should I try to socialize them now? The puppy will still be about 9 months this summer.

Also, my BF used to hunt rabbits with his uncle's beagles. He is convinced that my rabbit and my sister's beagle will never get along. Is this true? I tried to explain to him that there is a difference between them being indoors together vs. being outdoors in a more natural environment.

When i get home from work there is always a ton of water on the floor, and the dish is empty. How can i get her to stop? She likes to splash around in the dish and knock it around... i have to leave water for her! Any tips?

My molly fish just had about 15 or so fry, and some of them had a red sac under the belly. Anyone know what that is? This is my second experience with live fry and the first did not have a sac on them. Will they be ok? any help is appreciated.

i started a fish tank last friday and it has been running smooth with no problems besides a little high ph. I have 6 fish in it know which i added sunday afternoon and they are super happy and i think one set is already getting ready for babies :) my plants are doing fine as well. How ever i would like to add the fun fish to my tank :) but i wanted to do that today which is wednesday would there be any problems with that?

My cat just had babies or rather baby, only one made it.She had a very ,very rough and long labor last night and she has not shown any interest in her new baby yet.It is feeding ,but she is not licking it or doing anything besides sleeping.Will she show more attention once she has rested and recovered?
