Ensure that your dog is taking medication for Heartworm. If not, this (having heartworms) could decrease her appetite and eventually lead to death.

If she is, you should also ensure that she is taking some tapeworm medication. This is not detected by fecal examination at the vet. If she has tapeworm, she is listless and has very little appetite. This happened to my dog and I only found out when she started vomiting the tapeworms. She had it really bad. After the medication, she was good to go.

Of course, lack of appetite may be as a result of other things so the best bet is to take her to a vet.

you may have to take her to the vet, she might be sick. Otherwise, the food may not smell right to her, are you keeping it sealed in a container, so that it doesn't smell weird? Have you tried another dry food? We have a friend who's dog is allergic to almost everything, and can't eat any food found at the store, only stuff from the vet. Is it puppy food? because you want to feed puppy food until the dog is one year old. Sometimes this transition is not an easy one. Dogs can be really picky at this point, because puppy food contains more fatty foods than regular dog food, it's like taking a toddlers candy away, and wanting it to only eat fruit, you might have to mix it before taking it totally away.

It could be anything!!! I have a chihuahua male, who's 3 years old, who stopped eating after his female companion had puppies. When I talked to the vet about it, he said, it was probably because he was lonely for the female, because she was in with the puppies all the time. Well, it didn't get any better, and we took him to the vet, who ran some tests on him, and determined he had a lung infection, and his kidneys weren't working properly. He treated him in the office, and also gave us medication for him to take at home. He's better now. My point being: Because he's a puppy, you should really take him in to get some tests run, and get him treated before he gets any worse. Some vets will work out payment plans, in case you are low on funds. Hope he feels better soon!

If you see she is losing weight, I would consult your vet. Try differnet kinds of food, they sell small packs of food. If she still does not eat maybe she has a medical problem.

what ever kind of food you have she does not like you need to buy small bags of food and try and have her taste it if she does not like it then try another bag, you should also take her to the vet she could be getting worms or she is sick with something.

HOOK worms!! beware puppies get them. they will kill a puupy. Take it to the vet, better to be safe then sorry especially if you paid a lot of money.
I worked for a vet and saw it happen all the time, my sister lost her $400.00 boxer puppy to hook worms.
