i just applied frontline on my dog...can i walk him tomoorow or should i wait?

I got my pug puppy implanted with an avid chip. Initially it is registered to my vets office - so any calls about her would go to their office if she were missing. I would have to pay another fee to the avid chip company (I think $30) to have any calls come directly to me. I was not told this upfront. Is this worthwhile? Has anyone had their pet returned because it was chipped?

She's a year old and just came out of heat. And yes, she has an appointment to be spayed next week. Plz don't lecture me about that. She also got on top of the fridge, got a magnet and chewed it up. Unlike her. The litterbox is clean, but I just changed it last night (opened a new box of litter, but same brand). I keep my house pretty cool (she's strictly indooor)--is there something I can do to make her feel better and stop ruining my carpet??? Help !

My dog athena is a pit bull, approximately 2 years old. She was spayed one week ago, and she hasn't eaten. She is keeping fluids down, but we give her small amounts. Why hasn't she eaten?? We are taking her to the vet tomorrow, but I am so worried... any suggestions on getting her to eat? She wouldn't even eat a pork chop.....

I have four baby cockatiels. One is a week old, one 6 days, one 4
days and one 1 day old.

I had to pull the male out for feather plucking. At first I was worried
about the babies not getting enough to eat with only one parent. But mama is feeding about every half hour or so, even through the night and the first three babies ALWAYS have their crop VERY full. I NEVER have seen them empty. I am afraid of Sour Crop. I read this is a problem with hand fed babies and that the crop should empty over night. Is this true with parent fed babies? Should the crop be allowed to empty or is it OK ALWAYS full?

The day old bay is not being overfed he gets very little but the
other three have VERY large Crops that are ALWAYS full. She allows me to handle the babies and is very gentle as she was a hand fed Cockatiel herself. She is 3 years old and this is her first clutch.

She laid and hatched the eggs next to, instead of inside the next box. Should I leave them where they are?

Birds keep trying to drink out of the pool in my back yard, but they all keep drowning in the process. Now I am a lover of animal death, and I hunt often, but when they just die like that, it takes the sport right out of it. Is there anyway I can fashion my pool into some kind of trap that won't hurt the birds, or at least set it up to where the birds have some kind of advantage in my hunt? Constructive comments only please.

I got out of the shower and fed my Beta.. a ritual I always do every day... he looks different though. His fins look as if they have been cut up or shredded.. they are shorter and jagged now. They have never been like this. What happened? It is on his top back and bottom fin... Help!!!
