I've heard from some resourses that you cannot have just two Oscar fish in the same tank. You can eather have one or six as a minimal. Is this true or would I be able to buy two Oscars and put them in the same aquarium??? Thank you

She had her two front shoes on and somehow, once again, the right shoe came off. It might be a while until a farrier can come out, so if anyone has a website instructing how to take it out and the tools to use that'd be great!

Or if you know from personal experience...... Thank you so much!

I don't want to hit her, but I want creative ways to stop her from going on the counters even when I am not home. It has to be something creative to scare her so she doesnt WANT to climb on the counters. Preferably something tried and true....but it must be humane!!!

I work in the seafood department of a grocery store, and the meat market cuts their own steaks, ribs, and has a grinder for hamburger. I am absolutely sure of the quality of the meat, and can get all trimmings and left over burger I want for my doxie. I want people's experience on how much is ok, and will she refuse to eat her dry dog food if i bring some home for her.

She sucks on the middle of her paw, not her toes. Her paw gets completely soaked, and she sucks on it for anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. She is 8 months old and had done it for about 4 months.

I adopted a beautiful (rather large) dog 2 days ago from a lady who couldn't care for him anymore. I was under the impression that she did take care of him but her living arrangement was just too small for this huge of an animal. Until I got to looking at him! He has horrible ear mites (meds started today), dead fleas and gnats and grass tangled in his "mane" - he has horribly matted fur! He has the long golden retriever hair at the back of his ears and that was so matted I had to cut most of it but his mane and tail are so horribly matted that even a bath did help work them out. I have been brushing and brushing with no real help. Does anyone have any good ideas for getting these matts out WITHOUT shaving his fur? I took him to the groomer but they wanted to just shave him, said working out the matts would be too time consuming. I refuse to shave him, he has so much hair and shaving him would probably be very traumatic for him. PLEASE HELP!

I have a small dog kennel. It @ four feet long and three in width. It has a pan that is removable at the bottom. Would this work for a rabbit cage. I have read it would. I plan on litter training my rabbit. I will start with a small pan in the corner the rabitt chooses to go to the bathroom. I have read that the wire cages can be uncomfortable for a rabbit. Many suggest putting cardboard over the wire. Just wondered what some peoples opinions are

I got my puppy from a shelter and she was living with a good foster parent. I was told that she is potty trained and the only way she will pee in the house is if she does not repsect me. I have raised dogs my entire life so i figured, no problem. She is an amazing dog and repect and listens very well. The only thing is, she pees everywhere! And it's not because she has to go to the bathroom...I will take her on hikes everyday and when we get home, she will pee! What is going on? Can dogs have urinary tract infection? Is she not potty trained? I have never had this problem with any of my other dogs. Help!

I have two pearly-colored danios (I THINK thats what they are), they have orange eyes, one is bigger than the other, like 3 inches and the other is just a tad smaller. I have a 30 gal tank with 7 differents barbs, 2 silver dollars, 4 corys, a couple of plecos and a betta. Good-sized external filter system, large aerator stone, inch of gravel, 80 degrees, (no plants) and I've had it about 6 months and its a very stable community (maybe a couple of deaths after I got it stablized). The fish usually hang out at the bottom of the tank. Suddenly in the last 2 days the swollen orange-eyed fish is hanging around the top of the tank and its underside is very swollen while its companion is still slim and sleek and behaving normally, as the rest of the fish are. And I noticed its not eating at feeding times. I bought these two orange-eyed fish about 3 months ago as small fish. I had no idea they would get this big. Could this fish be pregnant and if so what should I do? Thanx.

I have been out of the Hunter Jumper loop and into the breed show game for awhile now. Is it still considered tacky to use a horse's registered name at the all things hunter-jumper etc? If so what are some cool names for a 16.2 line back golden dun (minimal white) Paint with 4 white stockings,a bald face, and a white mark in the shape of an ascending eagle/hawk at his girth line? Just curious as always....
