I have two pearly-colored danios (I THINK thats what they are), they have orange eyes, one is bigger than the other, like 3 inches and the other is just a tad smaller. I have a 30 gal tank with 7 differents barbs, 2 silver dollars, 4 corys, a couple of plecos and a betta. Good-sized external filter system, large aerator stone, inch of gravel, 80 degrees, (no plants) and I've had it about 6 months and its a very stable community (maybe a couple of deaths after I got it stablized). The fish usually hang out at the bottom of the tank. Suddenly in the last 2 days the swollen orange-eyed fish is hanging around the top of the tank and its underside is very swollen while its companion is still slim and sleek and behaving normally, as the rest of the fish are. And I noticed its not eating at feeding times. I bought these two orange-eyed fish about 3 months ago as small fish. I had no idea they would get this big. Could this fish be pregnant and if so what should I do? Thanx.
